Holiday rentals with lake access in Tailem Bend

A wonderful few days with friends of 60 years. Absolutely beautiful outlook onto the water- we didn’t know how intriguing water birds could be. Many moments just watching. We loved being in such a peaceful location with easy access to Goolwa for shopping and restaurants. So appreciative of all the little delights waiting for us - local products and wine to taste as well as all the pantry staples we could have needed (should we have wanted to cook😁) And the products supplied in the bathrooms were beautiful too. The only downside, but a hilarious one, was the fact that the lovely couch was too low for any of us over 80s! The deck furniture solved our problem so we had front row seats to nature’s wonders. Thank you Sam and Trent for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. The attention to all these little details was greatly appreciated.

Such a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the view of the river was just simply stunning every morning. Great spot for the kids, they loved fishing off the jetty and going for a swim whilst we prepared a BBQ and enjoyed the serenity. The playground is acouple minutes walk away, as is the historic Wellington pub. The wild life was gorgeous, ducks on the back lawn and frogs at night to spot. The decor was absolutely stunning and the beds were comfy and lush. This places is exactly what it says it is and the host was super helpful and lovely. We can’t wait to come back again and make this a place to return to time and time again!

Daniel’s place is spacious, sparkly clean and well equipped for our large family. It’s clear that a lot of thought has been put into the amenities provided, for example a kids play mat, sunscreen, plenty of kitchen appliances and dinnerware, and of course the kayak & stand up paddle boards! Our kids particularly loved kayaking in the private marina all day. We were super impressed with everything. Thank you for hosting us.

Peaceful and relaxing family holiday. We were able to take out two little dogs and have the whole family together. Enjoyed the private river access and area where we were able to access the jet ski we hired for a couple of days. The place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need.

My young family (two young kids) and I checked in for 3 nights. We would have loved to stay longer! Beds and linens were beautiful on arrival, it had everything we needed for a quiet, safe, peaceful getaway. The water location a huge drawcard, especially with children as the bay was quiet and fairly shallow. Will definitely keep it on our list!!

I cannot recommend Caroline's' place enough. Little slice of heaven. So peaceful. The only noise was from the birds! Sitting on the deck, looking over the bay. Opening the blinds in the morning to the view was so calming. Lots of attention to detail - books to read, DVDs for the kids, a nice break from the internet! We wanted to switch off and re-connect with nature and this was the perfect place to do so. Thank you Caroline for a lovely setting. It's a gem. :)
