Holiday rentals with lake access in Tahoe City

It was a pleasure to stay at Alice's house. Everything was extremely tidy, well-organized, and her house is well appointed. I especially appreciated the kitchen, it was well-equipped, better than similar rentals. Alice was super responsive and kind. She allowed us to check in early which helped with the weather. The hot tub was an excellent addition. We are repeat visitors to this area, because it is minutes from Royal Gorge, which is a fantastic cross-country ski resort. It is also close to Sugar Bowl for those who downhill.

Incredible 180 degree views of Lake Tahoe in a rustic 1938 built house. Absolutely charming with the necessary upgrades. We enjoyed that the TV was in a room other than the main living space. It will be an experience we will always cherish with kids and grandkids!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is as beautiful as it looks in pictures, with a beautiful view of the lake. It was extremely clean and well stocked with supplies. Linda was a very communicative host and provided clear and detailed instructions for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Super clean, great location, all the amenities you'd need. Right on the lake and about halfway between the two north lake ski resorts. Will definitely be back!

Really nice house, with everything we needed for a vacation with friends. The only thing missing was the barbecue.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Homewood, CA! The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and flexible, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. The home was spotless, cozy, and clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful—peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for relaxation or exploration. We truly felt at home here and would love to return for another visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little wonderful getaway!

Paul’s place was a wonderful cozy home perfect for a weekend getaway. The kitchen is stocked with ample supplies for whipping up a tasty meal. The hot tub is undoubtedly a huge perk of this home and nothing beats the scenery of relaxing in the tub during a light snow with the surrounding trees. Each room has its own thermostat which is helpful if your group is using multiple rooms. The home is very close to the lake, a ski resort, and only 15 min away from Tahoe City where there are many cute shops and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend Paul’s place to anyone looking for a retreat to Tahoe

My family felt very comfortable in Suzanne's condo. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was having Suzanne as a host. She was very quick to respond to our questions and gave exact directions to find the condo.

Great home base for our weekend ski trip. Short drive up to Heavenly's parking lots and walkable to many spots around town and to the lake shore. The space was clean and homey.

Had a great stay, the host was super accommodating and let us check in a few hours early. The place was clean and had a great kitchen, the beds were comfy, and everything was as described. We got a lot of snow and somebody from the building helped us shovel out the car, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Tahoe City

What a lovely place to have as headquarters for all the activities we planned. The only partially negative thing I could say is that the mattresses were firm. That’s just personal preference, and I’d much rather have that be the case than too soft. We had an amazing stay! Definitely will book again. Very convenient location.

All in all, we had a wonderful time staying here. It was super close to Heavenly for some epic skiing and also close to downtown and stateline for restaurants and entertainment. From the outside, it did feel more like a hotel or an apartment rather than a condo, but the inside had everything we needed for our getaway. Thanks so much! I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely little house for a family of three. Nice and clean, laundry on site, fully stocked kitchen and a car charger available for us. What's more, the location could NOT be more ideal! The house is within a very short walk of the beach and downtown, including multiple shops and restaurants.

Great location, well appointed, responsive host, as advertised. The place is a 5-minute walk to the gondola, restaurants, shops, etc. It's plenty roomy enough for six people and we'll appointed with what makes it feel like home. I'd definitely stay here again.

We were in town for my sons ski race at Northstar. This location was cute, quaint and convenient for my husband and our two boys. We loved being close to shops and restaurants and the park. Also very close to Northstar. Will return. Thanks for the nice stay!

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

This is the second time we have been lucky enough to stay in this beautiful and peaceful retreat. I cannot speak volumes enough of how wonderful it is. Amazing hosts. Beautiful home. Easy drive to all ski resorts (winter) hiking trails and beautiful Tahoe beaches and scenery yet hidden away in a quiet neighborhood. We feel so lucky to have found this gem!

You really can't beat this location. Any closer to the lake and you would be on a houseboat. The beach is beautiful, just steps from the front door. It is also just a few minutes from great restaurants and King's Beach. The cabin is cozy and true to the photos. I wish the interior/furniture/kitchen was updated, but the rooms were nice and big and the beds were comfortable. It was awesome to have a sauna with a view of the lake too. The fireplace is nice and helps keep the place warm (tip use the fireplace fan) - we were lucky and it snowed while we were there. We had a question about the heater and someone quickly came over. Very nice and helpful. We will be back. 5/5 recommend!
