Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Surry County

The host was very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to all my questions. The property is beautiful and private. The home was clean and looked just like the pictures. We enjoyed ourselves for our girls weekend. Perfect for a staycation.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Dena’s home. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and thoughtful gestures were remarkable. From the coffee and bedside waters to the abundance of toiletries, every aspect of our stay was well thought out. We were especially touched by the surprise Christmas gifts waiting under the tree, which added such a special and personal touch to our visit. The hospitality exceeded all expectations, and we highly recommend their home to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

My extended family takes a vacation together every year. We’re normally at the beach, but needed a place close to Smithfield because a niece recently gave birth and wouldn’t be traveling. Well, we couldn’t have found a better place! Dante’s home provided everything we needed … clean, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, lots of room for the kids to run around and play, and my favorite … the swimming pool!!! The weather was perfect for lounging around and in the pool. We will definitely be back next summer!

Our stay at Joanna’s was a wonderful recharge for our family in a busy season. From the beach to the kids playing games and then relaxing by the fire-pit, this was exactly what we were looking for. Joanna was very responsive in resolving any issues we encountered. Thanks for everything!

Dan and Sam’s place is a beautiful, cozy getaway from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg- but still very conveniently located. From the start, our hosts were welcoming and very communicative. We enjoyed waking up to the upstairs reading nook with a cozy chair, a good book from their collection and a cup of coffee from the coffee bar. The sunrises are beautiful on the James river and there is a great view! You can even see historic Jamestown across the river. We enjoyed local dining at our hosts recommendations, and had everything we could have possibly needed! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Maureen is an amazing host, is super responsive and attentive to every detail. The house has everything you need, with a well-stocked kitchen that makes it easy to cook and feel at home. The space is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The location is just a quick 10 minute drive to downtown Williamsburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous get away. Clean, stunning open views of river. Can get outside and look for sharks’ teeth, shells, and simply be. If you pack along some groceries, absolutely no reason to leave.

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

We enjoyed ourselves. We traveled for our anniversary and had a peaceful relaxing time. We enjoyed sitting under the pergola, despite the cooler ocean breeze- it's November after all- we watched the sunrise and had morning coffee while watching the water. The space was VERY clean and comfortable. Host took care of a beeping smoke detector in another unit for us and informed when there might be noises upstairs. I appreciated that extra communication. Host informed of issue with jacuzzi in advance with his apologies. Again, appreciated!

After being disappinted with the local hotels on several occasions I decided to give Airbnb a try. I found this little gem. I stayed one night. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The community was quiet. It was very convenient to Hampton University, some good restaurants, and the Peninsula Town Center. I would stay there again.

Great property, great location, awesome host. Joe is super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my work stay in the property and the area. Everything was comfortable and all I needed for a couple weeks stay.

It was nice to get to, and my trip was good. Unfortunately the day before I twisted my knee while packing for the trip, and was limping a bit. I was so hapoy to have happened to book on the first floor. There were 4 steps up to the front door and I was parked a bit far away, which I corrected when I was able, but when I arrived, some kind neighbors helped me with my bags up the steps. It was super peaceful and within a few days my knee was better. This was close to my Norfolk event, and it was really awesome to have a quick trip after some late parties. There was not much noise ever and the neighborhood was so sleepy we were surprised to find an event had blocked off and rerouted a few streets. It wasn't difficult to get around as there were lots of alternatives. Next time I hope to get on the ferry....with no injured knee. :) Great job from my host.

Absolutely LOVED Cindy's place! It was exactly what I needed, where I needed it: close to CNU. I really liked the decor and the amenities were perfect! Cindy is a fantastic and very responsive host! Had a small hiccup with the refrigerator but Cindy promptly called and talked me through fixing it. Everything was fine after that. She checked in a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I had everything I needed. That was greatly appreciated! Hope to head back there in the near future!

I absolutely recommend Steff's studio, it is charming! So many attractive decor touches and super well equipped, including a variety of chargers, cooking materials, extra towels, lots more. And Steff is the most responsive host we have ever experienced, have used Airbnb for years. Above and beyond describes both the apartment and her attention. We happened to arrive right after a crazy snow storm and unexpectedly the whole town was pretty much shut down our first night. Even grocery stores were closed. Thanks to frozen pizzas left for us we had a warm dinner that first night. Top of the line Airbnb experience.

Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

Well maintained, clean and free of clutter. She had a nice tray of coffees, teas and chocolates available. I love my nighttime tea and had forgotten to bring it, so that was great. Had a nice fenced in yard that we were able to use to practice soccer. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed minus a couple mixing bowls. There was some food and spices there (from other guests maybe) that we weren't sure if we could use or not. I was confused about getting logged into WiFi but I messaged Collette and she walked me through it. Nice place and well priced.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s place! The entire unit was spotless, (I am OCD and I approve) perfectly located, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All of the Hosts were very responsive and we had a smooth transition when we needed to extend once more. We would definitely book again!

Hands down - this is one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had in booking an airbnb. Home was beautiful (much larger than the photos depict!). My 3 and 1 year old girls had an absolute blast, and they even had a high chair and pack and play brought in for us ahead of our approved early arrival. My husband is deployed in VA and it made everything so much easier. The view was gorgeous and we had everything we needed. I even got a relaxing bath in the master bathroom! Thank you so much for the quick responses, early check-in and welcoming stay. Truly made my week!

Our stay was amazing! Perfect time to be in Williamsburg for all Christmas festivities with family! Our AirBNB at Greensprings was a great location. Out of the way a bit but only 10-15 min from everything. It's near a highway that shoots you to Busch Gardens or downtown Williamsburg. Our setup was a bit tricky with 14 people and this place was perfect for everyone to have their own space but able to hang out together. Basically 4 2 bedroom apartments!

Very nice place. The unit has everything you need. Is close to the city. Robert was very helpful. We don’t used the facilities and did not go to the activities for being short time but they have a lot. Great place.

This was a great place for a weekend In Williamsburg. Lots of comfy beds, functional kitchen, plenty of places to sit and chat.

We were so appreciative of William allowing us to stay at the Historic Powhatan. It is such a wonderful property to stay at in Williamsburg. There is so much room. The property has great amenities for families. We booked at the last minute because we had to change our spring break plans. William was so easy to work with and so accommodating. Thank you so much.
