What a fantastic stay! This was a beautiful, peaceful home for a few nights. Everything was spotless, enjoying the hot tub in the evenings was lovely, and there were helpful little touches throughout the home. The location is right in between yummy restaurants, outdoor activities and more in Sebastopol and Guerneville. I can’t recommend this spot enough, it’s wonderful!

Shane and Craig’s home is truly a phenomenal oasis in the middle of the redwoods. The multi-level property offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest while also offering every amenity (highly functional and well-designed kitchen, homey living space, two separate sleeping areas, hot tub and lounge chairs with views of the surrounding forest) one would need for a restful vacation. The town of Guerneville is only 5 minutes away with access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, wine tasting rooms, and the Russian River. Highly recommend as a couples’ getaway or family/friends’ trip.

We rented this home for a family gathering during a cold, rainy weekend in late March. Even though it was off season for recreation on the river, this location proved to be the perfect, warm, cozy place to spend lazy mornings watching the rain fall and to share meals in the evening. The decor feels very old school "cozy cabin on the river" from a warmer, friendlier era, when families would spend whole summers on the Russian River. The views from the windows are peaceful and beautiful and no one minded keeping the wood stove going or hand washing dishes. It was all part of the charm of the house. We appreciated the very specific directions to the house and the advice to arrive well before dark. The narrow, winding roads along the river aren't the easiest to navigate, even for locals! We appreciated the rain holding off for a few hours so we could explore Armstrong Redwoods on a moist, cloudy morning. We were treated to majestic trees, lush moss, and even banana slugs! Thank you!

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of magical. Nestled among towering redwoods, this home is a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and thoughtful design. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owner has poured immense care and attention into every detail of both the home and the surrounding gardens. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy yet modern touches that make it feel like a true retreat. Large windows bring the outside in, allowing for breathtaking views of the trees at all hours of the day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect after a long day of wine tasting! The outside space was a true highlight! It’s evident that Ryan has a deep appreciation for the space and his attention to detail made the ent entire experience feel special. If you’re looking for a place to truly unplug, this is it! We can’t wait to return!!
