Beachfront holiday rental in Suchitepéquez Department

We really enjoyed our time at Julian’s place and would definitely recommend it. Access is a bit difficult because of the uneven steps and incline, but the place is exactly as described and is away from the main town which is good for privacy and quiet. Julian was very responsive as well! It has a great view and everything you need. The kayaks are a huge plus so don’t forget you have that option! Just be careful on those steps and you should be fine. What helps is Julian will send you a video of how to get up so you won’t be surprised and know what to expect. Thank you Julian for all you did :)

Fernando’s place is a gem on the lake. What a wonderful property! Fernando’s English is excellent and the place is very safe.

Fernando was top of the line. He went out of his way to ensure we made it smoothly and prepared. Not only did he leave recommendations, but also instructions on how to get to destinations and what to do to make the most out of our time. He is a man who cares for his guests. If you’re thinking of going to Lake Atitlan, go to Fernando!

First time in guatemala and it was magical! Julian was VERY helpful. He met me and helped me up and down with my luggage. Quick response and made sure I had everything I needed! Only thing is it is VERY dark in the night time-( your phone flashlight would be very helpful) and if you’re comfortable climbing up steps. Beautiful restaurants in the area and very easy to walk/ get around in a tuk tuk. Would definitely stay again!

I have never stayed on this side of the lake, but I have always wanted to. This place is a jewel of a property. I had an incredible visit. Service and communication is top-notch and it is quiet. I have been coming to Guatemala for 15 years and feel that I am an authority on these matters. Their dogs are very well behaved and quiet. the neighbors have no dogs or roosters and no early morning boats to wake you up. Being way off the road there are no motos, chicken buses or Tuk Tuks either. In the day, there can be some jet skiing or other private boats and helicopters, but they pass by fast enough. I believe their plan is to eventually have a restaurant, but it is worth noting that you will need to carry your food in on a 15 minute walk so come prepared for that. Very limited dining options in town. Water crystal clear and great for swimming. I’d give 6 stars out of 5 if that was an option. Will be returning. Easily the quietest and most peaceful place on the lake I have stayed.

Carolina’s beautiful house by the water, with its stunning yet peaceful view, was perfect for our family reunion. We had a great time there and will definitely go back again! And Carolina is a super host, very easy to communicate with, and super kind.

This place is absolutely perfect in every way possible. The views are gorgeous and the location is private and quiet. We enjoyed the utilization of all the amenities such as taking a kayak ride on the lake and coming back to a swim in the pool and in to the sauna and a soak in the jacuzzi. Carolina was extremely helpful with her clear instruction, communication and recommendations. I would definitely love to come back some day and stay here. Thank you!

This place was beautiful. The peaceful environment and the AMAZING view were definitely worth it. Everything was as described and more. We really enjoyed out time here and would definitely love to be back. the kids had a great time at the pool, the lake and around the house. a beautiful place to rest, enjoy and to reset. We recommend this place.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Amazing place, the listing photos are beautiful but in person it exceeded expectations. The house is very spacious, with many environments so that, although there are many people, everyone can have their space. It has everything you need. The beautiful garden as well as the exit to the lake. Very close to Santiago that also the main street very nice. Don Eduardo is very friendly. He supported us a lot. We will surely return, thank you very much for everything.

A breathtaking view! Pedro helped us a lot and was always attentive, the house is beautiful and has everything you need, very close to the main pier of San Juan and in general one of our favorite stays.

If you're looking for a simple, waterside cosy cabin, look no further. We loved our time in this lovely A-Frame Tiny Green House. Nestled on the rocks right atop the lake with its own private dock was superb. The house is equipped so you can cook your own meals. The bed was comfy! You can see the stars through the window at night and hear the waves! Just a short trail walk into San Juan, super easy, very do-able. Apparently you can walk the rocks to San Pedro, tho we didn't, we took a tuk-tuk for about 30q for two ppl. It's nice that it's settled away from the town so it feels private, but close enough to get to. You can see lots of boats passing by though and sometimes tourists paddle boarding or kayaking. Juan was very accommodating allowing us to check in and out at our leisure. I would certainly recommend for anyone looking to explore both San Juan and San Pedro and being right on the lake! :)
