Holiday rentals with a patio in Strängnäs Municipality

Just what we needed and excellent location

From the first moment it felt right at home! Mats' apartment is perfect. The nearest tram stop (Smedslätten) is a 5-minute walk and parking is a 1-minute walk. The tram is perfectly connected to the city center. The house is very clean, tidy and all the spaces are spacious and well organized, with everything you need and more. The neighborhood is wonderful, we fell in love with it immediately. Mats is an excellent host: he is responsive and present without being intrusive. His advice is very valuable (there is a manual with instructions on the house and its surroundings that is really well done!). We were really sorry to have to leave Stockholm and Mats' apartment. We'll definitely be back! You go too!

The weekend was well spent in Anna's place. It was a spacious, clean, and complete with all the basic stuff that you need. The kitchen was well equipped too. The general area is well located, but I would recommend a car to go by and visit places like Wik's castle and Old Uppsala. Overall, the place was beautiful and feels so peaceful. Anna was also very accomodating host.

Very calm and quiet place, around nature, no noise, suitable to rest. Inside, it was cozy like with the grandparents in the summer house, it was warm.

Anita’s place is a definite go to house if you are looking for a place in and around Stockholm-Arlanda area. It’s very convenient to reach both the city and the airport with easy access to the highways. It is as described and shown In the pictures and Anita is just amazing with responses at any time. Would definitely recommend this place

Excellent for a short to long term stay. Beautiful small apartment and the host Lena was easy to talk to and it felt like a very good homestay.

Nice and helpful response! Since we arrived when it was dark, it was a bit tricky to find because it felt like you were driving wrong when you drove into the long driveway but daytime everything was clear! Great place to stay! We were four adults who didn't know each other very well and there was plenty of space. Comfortable sturdy double beds in two of the rooms. The extra bed behind the drapery/alcove in the living room worked 👍

We had a wonderful 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve in the house. Emma and her father Mats are wonderful hosts through and through. They 🎄 set up a Christmas tree especially for us, explained everything in the house to us and we learned a lot about the area and received great excursion tips. It was like being with good friends. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. It was just wonderful to sit by the fireplace overlooking the lake. Stockholm is just an hour away. We can warmly recommend the house even in winter!!!

Rented Johanna and Christian's home on a weekend for a 60th anniversary celebration. The hosts had decorated the place for the 60th anniversary and also left a small gift, candy, etc. which was very appreciated. We also got to feed the animals and the kids had to ride a tractor. Always nice and quick responses from the hosts. world class hosts. The home had everything that we had expected. Cool building, big garden. plenty of spaces inside as well. Extra plus there was olive oil, spices, soap, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Hotel feeling.

Hallo, the house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped. There is more than enough space for 3 people. The terrace is huge, the house is in good condition and you feel right at home. The area is very quiet, yet you can reach Stallarholmen in a few minutes and have shopping opportunities there. The host is easily accessible, responds quickly to messages. The lake is around the corner and offers a fantastic view. Unfortunately, the engine from the boat was broken and usually didn't jump on. The boat itself is well suited for excursions and fishing. The bottom line is that we can recommend the place and had a great vacation. Regards, MW

We had an amazing two-night stay and Dennis and his wife were great hosts - they showed us around the house and were very helpful in picking us up by boat to the island. The house looked even better in real life than the pictures. Lots of nature, easy beach access and the hot tub was the highlight. Can't wait to return.

We spent 14 days in the cozy house and had a great time in the beautiful garden and on the terraces. We particularly enjoyed cozy evenings with a campfire. A small nature reserve and bathing place are just a short walk away. The house itself is very cozy and equipped with everything you need on vacation. My warmest recommendation for the house comes from the bottom of my heart. Shiori is a very good hostess.

Beautiful fresh house with an amazing view over the lake. The old touristic steam train is passing between the house and the lake a few times per day, making the view even more beautiful. We especially enjoyed the barbecue, jumping in the lake and the jacuzzi! Nice to visit the town of Mariefred and its castle nearby.

Absoulte recommendation! The apartment is perfect for a quiet, private and comfortable stay. The facilities leave nothing to be desired. The furnishings are extremely cozy. The drive to Västerås takes about 10 minutes by car. The communication was very pleasant and uncomplicated. If I'm back in the area, I'd love to come back!

We had a pleasant family stay in the accommodation offered by Jan and Anki, very well equipped and comfortable. In addition, the location is ideal for visiting Stockholm and its surroundings. We recommend it!

Alexandra was pleasant and helpful, the apartment was perfectly located, 200 m from the sister that we greeted. There is also a bus stop, just a stone's throw away. The apartment was great, tidy, two bedrooms, patio with its own small garden and private parking space just outside the door. Freshly cleaned, clean towels, wifi, all amenities and any equipment one may need. Super easy to access the key from a key cabinet with a code lock. We are happy to live there more times!

I have stayed in Eriks place a few times. Erik is such a great host and his apartment is so nice, clean and comfortable. I always enjoy staying in Eriks place when I come to Västerås. Erik is always very responsive and helpful. I could not ask for a better host. The apartment is very modern and so much better than a hotel for me. The apartment is within walking distance of super markets, shops and restaurants and also close to the central train station. I highly recommend Eriks place. I will come back on my next visit. Thanks so much !!!
