Beachfront holiday rental in Strängnäs Municipality

We loved our stay (5 friends) at Monica's house, it's super cozy, warm and had all the kitchenware we needed to prepare our meals. We also enjoyed the sauna and had a great time overall

Ellenor's house is located outside the small village of Ekerö, just 40 minutes (approx.) by car to Stockholm (if you want, there is a nice boat from Ekerö that goes to the city centre). The house is clean, and has everything you need for a cozy stay: a well equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, a large deck terrace, a well kept garden, where our little dog Lina loved to run free. We were two couple of friends and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the walks in the area (200m. there's the lake) and the dinners on the deck terrace. If you love Stockholm but you prefer to live in the nature not so far from the city, this is the place to stay. Ellenor is a good host and she is always available in case of need.

What made the stay truly special was the host, Daniel. His warm welcome, helpful tips, and quick responses made everything effortless. It’s clear he puts great care into every guest’s experience. The outdoor space was magical, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze or nearby trails. Evenings on the deck, watching the sunset, were priceless. This oceanfront house isn’t just a stay; it’s an experience worth every penny. Rare, peaceful, and unforgettable.

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

We spent a relaxing week in Pia's house and enjoyed the tranquility and the great, large and well-kept garden. There were several seating groups, partly overlooking the lake. We also particularly enjoyed the access to the lake with private jetty and sauna. There was even the option to use a rowing boat. Pia was always available for us. The accommodation was easy to find and the check-in was flexible and straightforward. The house was equipped with everything necessary, very clean and cozy. The proximity to Stockholm was also great. There were regular train connections from Gnesta. You were there in 40 minutes. We can definitely recommend the place!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Åsas beautiful cottage, which is located in a brilliant location. Åsa was very friendly, thorough and open, and everything went very all the way from booking, through check in, our stay and check out again. This place is truly a small gem, and Åsa is a very good host. Our warmest recommendations! :-)

A gem among AirbnB. Beautifully located at the curvature of the river. Private and easily accessible. We can't wait to return in the summer months when the garden is in full bloom!

Absolutely unbeatable location right by the sea! So beautiful, peaceful and quiet. With three kids who love to swim, the pool was the highlight. Well heated and right outside the door there were many, many hours of bathing. Just below the property, there is also a large jetty with a swimming ladder where we took several nice sea baths. A little further away, there is also a really nice little swimming area with playground, sandy beach and diving tower. We would love to come again!

If you could give 10 stars, we would. The space is gorgeous. Even nicer than the pictures. Helena and Magnus are wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired. Whether sauna, a hot bath in the jacuzzi or the best tips for the area, you get everything from them. An absolute plus for us: the cozy construction trailer, a few meters to the lake and - oh well - everything.

I booked this home for my in laws to stay for our wedding and they absolutely loved everything. My father in law even wanted to move in 😂

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

A great cottage in beautiful surroundings! We felt very comfortable and spent a very relaxing vacation. The two guest houses were of course great for our big children. I can absolutely recommend the cottage and would book again anytime.

Daniel and Annica’s summer house is a true gem, beautifully located on the island, with a private jetty for swimming, hammocks and multiple place to sit in the flower-drenched garden. The interior and exterior is nicely decorated. The view over the lake is amazing. Our kids loved the SUPs and toys available in the house. Good location for day trips to Stockholm, Strängnäs and Mariefred. Highly recommend this place.

Great place and location. Was calm and felt like in the middle of nowhere, yet close to the city. Would love to visit again!

We went there with my whole family ( 6 people and a baby). To be honest, it was a very nice place and extremely calm. You are in the middle of the nature. We had a small issue in the beginning with the bed sheets ( my fault) but Jacob solve it very fast. On average, a positive experience.

Absolutly fantastic summerhouse, absolutly worth the price. Lovely house and very comfy inside, wild flower garden, fish right infront of the house, even crayfish traps and sauna:) we had the best time

We had a very nice time with Johan. Johan is very communicative and helpful and gave us all the necessary information. The house is very nicely located on the island and we were able to relax well while fishing, boat and ATV. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather and almost only rain for a week. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Viktor and Beatriz’s place is absolutely magical. It’s welcoming, beautiful, has astounding surroundings. The lake swimming and small beach are incredible. Sitting out on their deck, eating dinner, lying in the hammock watching the sunset is pure magic.
