Beachfront holiday rental in Strängnäs Municipality

We had a great weekend at Monica's place.

Ellenor's house is located outside the small village of Ekerö, just 40 minutes (approx.) by car to Stockholm (if you want, there is a nice boat from Ekerö that goes to the city centre). The house is clean, and has everything you need for a cozy stay: a well equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, a large deck terrace, a well kept garden, where our little dog Lina loved to run free. We were two couple of friends and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the walks in the area (200m. there's the lake) and the dinners on the deck terrace. If you love Stockholm but you prefer to live in the nature not so far from the city, this is the place to stay. Ellenor is a good host and she is always available in case of need.

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

We spent a relaxing week in Pia's house and enjoyed the tranquility and the great, large and well-kept garden. There were several seating areas, some overlooking the lake. We especially liked the lake access with private jetty and sauna. There was even the possibility of using a rowboat. Pia was always available to us. The place was easy to find and check-in was flexible and straightforward. The house was equipped with everything necessary, very clean and cozy. The proximity to Stockholm was also great. There were regular train connections from Gnesta. It was 40 minutes away. We can definitely recommend the place!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Åsas beautiful cottage, which is located in a brilliant location. Åsa was very friendly, thorough and open, and everything went very all the way from booking, through check in, our stay and check out again. This place is truly a small gem, and Åsa is a very good host. Our warmest recommendations! :-)

Reccommended highly. Easy to navigate. Easy check-in and checkout. Cozy property, quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is in place in the cabin. Short distance to attractions nearby such as Strömsholm, Tidö and Västerås. Thank you so much for us! We gladly came back😃

If you could give 10 stars, we would. The place is fantastic. Even nicer than in the pictures. Helena and Magnus are wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired. Whether sauna, a hot bath in the Jacuzzi or the best tips for the area, you get everything from them. For us an absolute plus: the cozy construction trailer, a few meters to the lake and - oh - just everything.

I booked this home for my in laws to stay for our wedding and they absolutely loved everything. My father in law even wanted to move in 😂

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

A great cottage in beautiful surroundings! We felt very comfortable and spent a very relaxing vacation. The two guest houses were of course great for our big children. I can absolutely recommend the cottage and would book again anytime.

Absolutly fantastic summerhouse, absolutly worth the price. Lovely house and very comfy inside, wild flower garden, fish right infront of the house, even crayfish traps and sauna:) we had the best time

So cozy accommodation! We stayed a few days enjoyed swimming from the jetty and fishing. In the evenings, it was so cozy to sit and look out over the lake at the wildlife as well as the cows in the pasture next door. The sauna was a real plus with a beautiful view of the lake. Nothing to complain about either the listing or the host Anna who was nice and helpful. In the house, there was everything you needed. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility. Would love to go back🙏🏻

We really enjoyed the holiday at Helena's place! The cottage is nicely and practically furnished. It is only a few meters away from the lake, we could always jump into the lake on the private shore or explore the lake with our brought boats. Even the long bright evenings with fire on the lake shore were pure relaxation. Helena is a very nice and helpful host. In her uncomplicated and open manner, she always helped us when needed and gave great excursion tips. We really liked the peace and seclusion of the accommodation, but at the same time you are also quickly in the surrounding places or (best by train) in Stockholm. We will be happy to come back!

Viktor and Beatriz’s place is absolutely magical. It’s welcoming, beautiful, has astounding surroundings. The lake swimming and small beach are incredible. Sitting out on their deck, eating dinner, lying in the hammock watching the sunset is pure magic.

Daniel and Annica’s summer house is a true gem, beautifully located on the island, with a private jetty for swimming, hammocks and multiple place to sit in the flower-drenched garden. The interior and exterior is nicely decorated. The view over the lake is amazing. Our kids loved the SUPs and toys available in the house. Good location for day trips to Stockholm, Strängnäs and Mariefred. Highly recommend this place.

Great place and location. Was calm and felt like in the middle of nowhere, yet close to the city. Would love to visit again!

We went there with my whole family ( 6 people and a baby). To be honest, it was a very nice place and extremely calm. You are in the middle of the nature. We had a small issue in the beginning with the bed sheets ( my fault) but Jacob solve it very fast. On average, a positive experience.
