House holiday rentals in Stone Town

We stayed at Fumba town for 5 days and the place was brilliant. Thanks to our lovely host and area the place was worth it. Bathroom and rooms looked better than in the picture.

This was a terrific place to stay in Zanzibar. Outside of the tourist area in Stone Town, but still very close (15 minute walk). Lots of local shops and restaurants nearby (Green Cafe and Dafu Seafood Restaurant). Much better than a hotel!

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. The multiple terraces provide breath taking views, perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, while the private pool and gardens offer the ultimate space to unwind. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for luxury, tranquility, and a touch of magic in Zanzibar

Veronica was very kind. She welcomed our family into her home. We wanted a place close to the airport so fly out the next day. Driving into the neighborhood, we started to get a little worried. It's a few minutes down a dirt road. She was able to give our driver precise directions. Once we got behind the secured gate, we were amazed by the property. We hung up our wet beach clothes outside on the spacious patio and clothesline. The kitchen had all the amenities. A separate dining area, a sitting area with 3 couches and TV, 3 bedrooms(2 with en suite bathrooms then a 3rd bathroom). AC in every room which was a bonus for us coming from not having any for 3 days in Nungwi. Hot water in the baths/showers. I slept on the couch comfortably whilst others enjoyed their private rooms/beds. In the neighborhood, I felt safe enough to walk 10 min to a fruit stand and small grocery to make breakfast. The kids in the area were so sweet. We gave them treats and they were grateful!Thank you!

Our landlord is very helpful. He helped us arrange taxis and give us a walk tour around some local places including the night market, and we tried some local street food together. The house is spacious, we had a good time with Dulla.

Great stay at Najmas house! Great location to visit all the historical tourists sites located in stone town. We stayed with two children and Najmas was the best choice, the pool and pool table were a massive hit, and was used every day. Nothing was too much to ask of Najma, she was lovely and welcoming and very helpful in organising our transfers from the airport with her driver. The house was spotless, equipped with all cooking utensils, towels, washing machine and most of all amazing aircon that was much appreciated as it was very hot. The location felt very safe and as a family we did not feel worried about walking around the back lanes of stone town, despite reading some online reviews that warned of muggers and pickpockets. We would highly recommend visiting Najmas house, it so cosy and close to everything we wanted to do and see. Thank you for a great stay!!

We absolutely loved our weekend at David's place! It may hands down be our favourite spot in Zanzibar, where you are surrounded by a tropical jungle with a beautiful view of the ocean. The swimming pool was incredible. My husband and I, together with our kids had a great time! The chef, Ezekiel, and all of the supporting staff were amazing as well. They gave us just enough privacy but were somehow still there when we needed services. We rented the villa for my husband's birthday and so on day 1 we invited a few friends over. David and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our guests were well taken care of also.
