We cannot recommend this place enough. The cottage was clean, cosy and peaceful. The log fire was fabulous to put on in tje evening. The hot tub was an added bonus and so relaxing after walking during the day. The pub, The Sycamore, was a two minute walk and the food was not only delicious but plenty of it. The location of the cottage was perfect to visit Buxton, Bakewell and Dovedale. Caroline was the perfect host and was always available to contact and ask questions.

We loved Emma's house. It was just right for our family get together. We loved the woodburning stove (not needed for warmth, just for the atmosphere) and I loved having a bath in the free standing rolltop bath. The cottage had everything we could have wanted. Thank you

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ian & Debbie’s Cottage. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself was outstanding – beautifully arranged, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every room, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living room, the spacious bedroom, and the spotless bathroom, was thoughtfully prepared for a perfect getaway. The hosts were exceptional. Ian, the owner, was incredibly responsible and attentive. His commitment to ensuring our stay was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. It’s rare to find hosts who care so much about their guests, and Ian went above and beyond to make our visit special. The surroundings were breathtaking. We were lucky to experience a magical snowfall during our stay, which turned the entire area into a winter wonderland. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-cared-for retreat. You won’t be disappointed!

Carolyn was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was as described and well stocked with everything we needed. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. The surroundings were beautiful and added bonus of the animals. Carolyn was knowledgeable about the area and recommended some lovely walks and pubs.
