Well the Guesthouse on School lake is that moment brought to life. The breathtaking views alone are worth it, but it’s the thoughtful little touches that create an extraordinarily peaceful retreat. 14th Coffee House is a unique property which is not for those looking for easy access to restaurants and downtown. however, Essex downtown is just 10 minutes drive from the property. It's for those who would like to go to a peaceful, secluded and a farm house sort of setting to enjoy a staycation than a vacation. Uber Eats delivers in less than 30 minutes so that isn't a problem as well. Hot Tub is special attraction. All the interiors are beautifully handpicked and designed based on Warren's preferences. Free Lattes and Coffees in the coffee house just behind the property spices up your stay. Nathan and Johnny were true baristas who provide you with not just warm and delicious coffee but also warmth of a small town. The doors and all the furniture fixing are quite antique so please handle them with care.

Jason was a gracious host, we enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back to stay here again. Great location, comfortable, clean and had really cool art. It was such a vibe. He even added extra heaters for us bc it was going to be extremely cold the weekend we came to stay. I wish we had more time to enjoy this place. The bed was so comfortable. Nice firm mattress. Can’t say enough about this place and Jason. We had no issues, everything was perfect, seamless. This house added to our memorable stay in Detroit. We won’t forget this place!

Nick's place has quickly become our go-to spot when staying in the Detroit area. It's comfortable, feels like home, is close to downtown and the highways, so getting around is easy, and we love that we can bring our pets with us.

Sara’s listing was very lovely and had a very homey feel with lots of traditional furniture and tons of natural light. Each bedroom has its own vibe. There’s a narrow staircase that leads up to the living space which might be troublesome for some older folk but other than that I love everything else. We didn’t need to use the stove or any appliances but there’s was basically everyone you would need, plus there were some chickens running around the backyard which was fun. Would stay here again. Not too far from downtown.

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

This was a great spot for my family to base ourselves while we visited extended family. It was clean and comfortable and, though we didn't cook much, the kitchen looked really well stocked. Very close to downtown Ferndale in a cute neighborhood. Great value!

Joe’s place was perfect for my stay. 20 min to downtown Detroit, walking distance to lots of restaurants in Royal Oak, and had all of what I needed for a 5 day trip.

Jill’s place was everything me and my dog could ask for, we felt right at home. There was peace and quiet with plenty of space to walk my dog. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay with Joseph was wonderful. He was kind and always responsive to my inquiries. His home was exactly as described and photographed. The game room, kids' playroom, and gym were lifesavers during the cold weather, helping us fight off cabin fever. All amenities were well described and worked perfectly for our needs. Highly recommend!!

Paige had amazing food recommendations. The apartment was just as described and we loved it. A beautiful view and the 420 friendly part is any stoners dream. Stairs were a lot on my asthma but I got my steps. Would rent again. 100/10

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

This place was great. Clean and nicely maintained. The pool made it really hard to leave. Jack was great to deal with as well

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.
