The rooms were indeed spacious. Everything was really clean. I particularly loved the bed warmer and the check in key system. Also, MG Marg is a walking distance away. My only suggestion would be to provide some minimum ingredients for cooking like salt and turmeric, as some boarders might prefer to cook themselves.

I recently stayed at Dhiraj's Alstroemeria Homestay in Darjeeling with my husband, son, and 60+ year old father, and it was a wonderful experience. The homestay is located just uphill near shiv mandir and walkable to Darjeeling Railway Station—while the climb may seem steep, it’s manageable and adds to the charm of being in the Himalayas. Dhiraj and his wife were incredible hosts, always available and attentive to our needs. Despite our late arrival, they greeted us warmly with tea, which my father especially enjoyed. The homestay itself was cozy and well-equipped with a kitchen and geyser for hot water, making it feel like a home away from home. The view of Kanchenjunga from the roof was breathtaking, and the convenience of food delivery from Zomato and Swiggy was a great bonus. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Darjeeling looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

We stayed 3 nights in this Airbnb, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming, welcoming, attentive, responsive... They helped us improve the quality of our trip. The place offers a very nice view. Their restaurant just above where we slept was very well and offered delicious dishes. For cleanliness, storage, bedroom... Everything was well done. A place for families, friends, or even alone. The value for money is good. Highly recommend this Airbnb for all its qualities. I hope to return soon!

I booked for my mother a nd aunt . According to them inside ambience is clean . As senior citizen to take the stairs is not comfortable. inside the washroom anemities should be added according to price per day kitchen area : tea and coffee ☕ and dry snacks arrange should be more elaborate. Heaters are working effectively during this chiill weather . Nice cosy inside and neat Alll over Nice !!!

The place is extremely good and had an amazing stay with a good night sleep. Thanks to our Host Susanna who is extremely professional and very friendly in nature. The best part is we didn't had a language barrier. She is very good in English and her communication style is great and easy to understand. Whilst during the stay I did see tourists Britts, Spanish and Singaporeans who did not had any issues with communication and even we shared a small amount of time for a drink at the restaurant where they shared their amazing experience and few things about their culture. This place is extremely friendly with all the amenities and well suited for international clients and tourists. So I highly recommend them to viewers. It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

Swaroop has an amazing place - spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Most importantly, Swaroop is an amazing host, the best. He was prompt in helping us out with anything that we needed, very friendly and cool to hangout with and great in communication. It felt right at home! Highly recommend!

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We had an awesome stay, the view from balcony is just beautiful. The caretaker are extremely helpful. My daughter had a fun time with Aradhya , she is yogita s niece. The food prepared by them was simple and tasty. They even helped us with luggage and cab booking. Just one advice while reaching the property enter the village from zoo side and not happy valley tea garden bcoz the road is very scary.

Amazing property. One of the best AIRBNB’s I have stayed in. Amazing view from all the rooms. Not to forget the mesmerising view of Kangchenjunga from the property. Rooms are amazing, eautifully decorated and very cozy. And the best part is the hospitality of the host. They have been responsive and very helpful. You don’t need to get out to taste the best food around as they themselves serve pretty mouth delicious food. If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. Here's a detailed review from our experience - The place was pretty easy to spot using GMaps and the guidance given by Mr Yougal. He's been extremely generous and hospitable throughout our stay. The house is equipped with possibly every utility one could think of. Every nook and corner has something to offer, extreme attention to detail. For instance, one can even find a large umbrella for those downpours (When you're not prepared! 😛). The living area is laden with items like snacks, tea, coffee, etc nicely tucked into the tight spaces. Location also is pretty central, one can easily find taxis to plan commutes anywhere in Darjeeling. Mr Yougal can help connect with friendly local cab drivers to plan any travel.

Fantastic place. Quiet (which was great as there was a festival on - rock- and this was out of the noise). The stroll into town was so enjoyable (note if walking is hard and being amongst the bustle is key then this might be a stretch). The views from two bedrooms are breathtaking- I’m not sure anywhere else would have this view. It was warm with lots of heating and hot water. Large kitchen. Large Lounge. Lots of places to be together or apart if you needed respite from each other. Very easy to communicate with. Everything works well.

Rishi is an extremely good host with excellent communication, one of the best Airbnb hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting. The property was very comfortable, if a little cold in mid-Winter. Plenty of duvets and blankets, so warm in bed! This property is best for people who want to cook for themselves, as local restaurants are a bit limited and it is a long way to town, but food is available to purchase locally to cook at home. But please note that the kitchen has no refrigerator (not a problem in Winter), and no plug for the sink, making it a bit difficult to do the dishes! Overall a very good choice, as it is handy to the zoo and historic parts of Darjeeling.

Khagesh place right on the MG Road is worth the money paid. The hosts family was very supportive throughout. The little one Prisha is a darling. The facility had the items listed. The property is in basement with around 15-20 steps. It's newly renovated. Khagesh offered his car on rent for local sight seeing though we did not use as we were driving ourselves.O Few minor issueswwere suggested to Khagesh and he was very receptive to the same. Overall a good stay and recommend to those in Gangtok.
