Tiny house holiday rentals in South-East Melbourne

I needed some solitude and healing and Alex’s place provided me a comfortable, easy place to be where I felt soothed by the birds and trees. I left my car in the drive and only ventured out on foot during my visit. I was able to keep a nice balance of alone time and proximity to other humans as the shops are only a few minutes walk away. I’ll stay again for sure!

We had a great stay at The Studio! We came down for a short weekend away and found The Studio extremely close to everything we needed & wanted! Great places to eat nearby, beautiful beaches, amazing views! The Studio itself had absolutely beautiful gardens and property surrounding it which we fell in love with! Both Carole and John were accomodating. It was a pleasure to meet them and hear of their story. There were beautiful touches made to The Studio such as complimentary breakfast foods, bubbles and a welcome message! It had a cosy lounge space and comfortable bedding! We wish it was cold enough to use the fireplace this passing weekend as it was such a beautiful touch that not a lot of b&b’s in the area had. The only downside from our stay was that we did find the place a little dusty (allergies) and there were a lot of spider webs inside however we are aware of the nature of being so immersed in nature itself with the surrounding gardens! Cosy, charming & peaceful! :)

The treehouse in Prahan is perfectly situated. Walking distance to PT, restaurants, cafes, groceries, chemist, etc. - they are also close to several beaches such as Elwood (could swim), St Kilda Pier (has penguins during dusk), 15-20mins drive to the CBD (depending on rush hour, might be better to take PT at times). The actual unit is a great size for 2 people (bed with couch that can turn to another bed; kitchen with toaster, microwave, kettle and hotplate; well ventilated washroom with good water pressure). There is parking included (would be tight if it was a SUV or mid-size sedan). Additionally there is an outdoor space to sit out too! Got to discover the south side of Melbourne - lots of history, night life and things to do. I've stayed at a bunch of airbnbs in Melbourne and you will not find anything of better value (location, size, amenities, price, etc.) than this place. Highly recommend! Only feedback is the place could be cleaner (swept, wiped down surfaces, etc).

Great little stay near the beach and shops for our family - all clean and everything we needed there. Will stay again!

We love staying at Denise and Ian’s bungalow. They are both so welcoming and kind. The space is perfect, tidy, clean and they stock the fridge and pantry with goodies! We look forward to coming back again!

The bungalow was a beautiful place with a cosy feel and vibe to it. It’s the perfect place for a short getaway with your significant other, and the highlights of Phillip Island are nearby. Their pets, although we don’t interact with them often, are very friendly and well behaved, and we kept on looking out for their precious dog. You can tell Ben and Tanja take very good care of the bungalow as it’s very clean as soon as you check in, their hospitality is excellent, and everything is very comfy and cosy.

We had such a wonderful stay at Stephen's tiny home! The views were stunning and every moment at the property felt peaceful and special. We enjoyed visits from the native birds and the company of the two nearby goats, and we also saw some kangaroos and a wombat nearby the property on our drive back from town. It was exactly the country escape from the city that we hoped for. Sitting by fire pit in the evening whilst sipping on local wine and toasting marshmallows was absolute bliss! Stephen was very communicative, and super friendly when we bumped into him on one occasion. We would highly recommend the stay and we are really looking forward to coming back again.

5 Stars - An Unforgettable Stay! I can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb experience! From the moment I booked, the host, Janine was incredibly communicative, friendly, and helpful—offering great local tips and making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The place itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. It had all the comforts of home and then some—thoughtful touches everywhere, like towels for our pups after the beach, a super comfy bed, and a beautiful set up that created a safe secure place for our dogs and ourselves. Location was fantastic too—close to everything we needed but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Janine and Frankie (her dog) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience especially for those that love to travel with their pets.

Great airbnb, especially for those with pets! Tim was a great host, very responsive and proactive. Tiny house was clean, had all amenities and matched the photos perfectly. The location was ideal for us with family nearby, and would suit anyone wanting to be within ~10 mins drive of Geelong City Centre. Highly recommend and we will no doubt be back :)

Such a gorgeous place in a really lovely, remote setting. The place was spotlessly clean and so beautifully decorated - honestly the photos don’t do it justice. We walked in and did a ‘wow!’ Absolutely delighted with everything. So many lovely little touches to make your stay special. It’s quite noisy in the morning with all the wildlife around you but we loved that!

Such a beautiful place and eventhough I only stayed for a night, we managed to go for a sunset walk and visit some of the local cafes and restaurants.

Libby is a gracious hostess. The amenities were better than expected. It’s a tranquil place, secluded and welcoming. It was easily a home away from home. A few days spent was definitely felt as more.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was the perfect getaway for our family, especially our toddler who absolutely loved visiting the farm animals. Brooke was an incredible host, she went out of her way to make sure our little one was comfortable by providing a portacot and a highchair, which made our stay so much easier. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed including an EV charging facility, which was a real bonus. The peaceful farm setting made for a relaxing stay, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend for families with young kids!

Howard's place was lovely. If you have kids, you'll love the playground right outside the door of your accommodation. The equipment is a little old though. Howard calmed my poor dogs down when they were crying with anxiety after we left them for a day out in town. He was very accommodating to the last day extension to our trip; we really loved the area and wanted to stay one more day. The shower is a tight squeeze if you are a large person, you definitely cannot fit two in there! Overall, lots of space, lovely place. They gave us our privacy which we love. We would come back again!

Great quiet residential base for Mornington Peninsula.

A cute little unit out the back of Jane’s house. Jane allowed us to check in an hour early. Very short drive to the beach and hot springs. A good kitchenette available, but no milk or breakfast food provided and some stipulated cooking restrictions. Would stay here again 😊

This place was absolutely stunning - from the moment we walked in we loved it! Cannot wait to return next year! There was absolutely nothing we could fault about the place or Brenda!

The room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, the linen was crisp. Great that there were extra blankets and a heat pump as the nights got cooler. I enjoyed my retreat in Annabel's rustic cottage.
