House holiday rentals in South Carlsbad State Beach

Vanessa was very communicative & answered any questions right away. The location is PERFECT! A short walk to the beach. The house had so much for our kiddos to do & was fully equipped! Definitely kid friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need! The pool and hot tub were beautiful & clean! The downfall to the hot tub, is you have to turn it on an hour before you use it each time. I believe it’s new so they’re still working out some kinks with the buttons. Vanessa was helpful with this though. There are also apartment complexes that look down into the yard, so not much privacy. I would rate this a 5, but there are a few cons. We had 8 people in our group, 3 being children. Thankfully we were all family so we snuggled in, but I think it’s more like a 6 person house or you are on small cots. You’re kind of on top of each other. The floors are creaky so no sleeping in once someone is awake & the furniture could use some updating. It was torn. Overall the location makes it 5 stars

My group had an amazing time in KC’s home. It was gorgeous and very comfortable accommodations. KC was responsive and helpful whenever I needed to reach him. The kitchen was well equipped and the house in general had luxurious upgrades. The neighborhood was quiet and spacious for California. My group had 4 cars and the driveway fit everyone comfortably. No one was blocking anyone in. The master shower is a dream with two shower heads. The adhesive on the wall to maintain the door in place kept falling due to humidity but we simple just rubbed it back in place a few times a day. The 4th bedroom off the kitchen is smaller than the others and has a sliding door with glass portions so it’s not private. This was the only thing we wished was disclosed prior to staying since we had couples in each room and would’ve preferred everyone have equal privacy. Other than that we would absolutely stay in KC’s home again when visiting the SD area.

We were very grateful to be able to stay for a few days in San Diego. This home was very clean and very cool. My daughter thought it was the fanciest place we had ever stayed :) we loved the heated pool, walking around the neighborhood, and there are many great restaurants and cafes close by. We went with two small kids and while it has more of a fun bachelor pad vibe we had an incredibly fun and relaxing stay.

Amazing stay and great communication would definitely come back

Lacee’s house was absolutely perfect for a weekend celebrating my father’s 90th birthday. It is a very beautiful, comfortable home, with plenty of room. Lacee generously allowed us to have family members over for an afternoon/evening dinner to celebrate my dad, and the living room and dining room were perfect to host everyone. It was an incredibly special weekend we will all remember, and Lacee’s house (including kitchen amenities) and flexibility made it possible!

This was a great place for my three sisters and I to spend a week of relaxation. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool, and it was worth paying extra to have the pool heated. Evenings by the firepit were also relaxing. While the place is setup for families with some of the beds being small, it worked out fine for four petite women. There is plenty of closet space to hang clothes, but no dresser or place to unpack things that don't hang up. The location is very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do, just a short drive to the beaches, shops, and restaurants. It was very comfortable, relaxing, and we felt safe. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch.

The place was fantastic and we had an amazing time! We had a few troubles of running out of amenities, but Jesus was able to restock and helped us the entire trip!

Me and my family had a great stay at Andrew’s apartment! The large patio is a huge plus. If you like peace and quite at night it really and mean really is quite after 10pm, near where the apartment is. And location is on spot as well, you have 2 beaches in either side of you in a walking distance, one is on the bay and the is facing the ocean. I would recommend anyone to stay at Andrew’s place!

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We felt right at home and was left with everything we could have possibly have needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. This home will be a great place to stay in the warmer weather too. We comfortable unfortunately could not enjoy the pool due to winter weather, but it was ready to go, if we were crazy enough to swim. We would definitely consider this home again in the future.

Charming little Cottage in a perfect, downtown La Jolla location. Walk to anything. La Jolla Cove and beaches. Grocery store and restaurants all in walking distance.

Great stay in San Diego! The home was exactly as listed in the photos - kitchen & living room were nice and spacious. Good location with quick access to food and things to do. Communication with host was also easy. Overall would recommend for your next trip to the area!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Jaime's place! I would highly recommend staying here! The view was incredible and the inside was spotless. All six members of our family felt extremely comfortable staying here while we were in town for a wedding. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee while enjoying the view from the deck! The location felt really central to everything we were doing. Jaime was extremely responsive to any questions I had. It was truly a beautiful "home away from home" for all of us!! I would give it more than five stars if I could! Thank you, Jaime, for a wonderful stay!!

Helen's home was a perfect fit for our family trip to San Diego. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all of the basics that we needed in the kitchen (spices, zip lock bags, condiments, etc.) and the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The beds were all comfortable and all were well made with extra blankets and pillows. The living room areas were cozy yet functional. The hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind after running around all day - it was hot a ready to go for us when we arrived. Helen was very responsive and communicated well with us before and during our stay. We would love to stay here again! Bonus tip - There's a Dry Bar and Sephora in the shopping center down the street if you need to get hair/make up done for an event. We were in town for a family wedding and it was nice treat for us to get our hair and make up done.

Our hosts were welcoming and very helpful. The descriptions and instructions were clear and easy to understand. The house was very light and bright. It was spacious and clean. Everything was exactly as described. We ate lunches out and cooked dinners in and enjoyed the ability to use the grill and enjoy the patio. Our hosts were incredibly responsive! We had a small issue with a smoke alarm and Michael came that day and replaced it within an hour. Then he stayed to chat and offered recommendations on many local adventures (Cabrillo State Park and Point Loma Lighthouse, La Jolla Cove and Cave) and restaurants. One note which is made clear in the instructions involves the garage. We had a larger car (SUV type) and I highly recommend a party to guide the driver while parking in the garage. The car fit nicely in the garage but the alley is a tight space for navigating. We will definitely be back and look forward to more San Diego adventures! Thank you Michael and Lily!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The place was completely accommodating as everything we could possibly think of was already provided! We were given tons of privacy and really loved the location, although January may not be the prime time for availability for all things. It was nice to get away anyway! We also stayed with kids and everyone was totally comfortable! Our youngest wanted to stay for “60 more days!”

Lovely home in great location, quiet neighborhood with sidewalks. Charming backyard with portico seating and a patio area with dining and grill, as well as a dining room. Up-to-date "happy hour" kitchen with bar height stools that pull up to the island & elegant Master/spa tub with its own entrance to yard area. Super nice hosts, very responsive. our group was all adults and we really enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

This is a well maintained clean house with a gorgeous outdoor patio and peaceful views. We appreciated the different outdoor spaces where family members could relax in the shade, play tennis, cool off in the pool or cook dinner on the grill. The gated neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located about 20 minutes from many beautiful surfing beaches and parks. We loved morning beach trips, and the outdoor shower was perfect for easy clean up. Although the owners live on site in the other half of this large residence, we only saw them when we happened to leave the driveway at the same time. Overall a very calm & peaceful place for a San Diego trip.

This home is a truly wonderful find! The background and view of San Marcos is stunning and the house has a regal, yet comforting feel to it. We had 5 girls sleeping here comfortably and enjoyed our time in the home so much. The host, Leah, was very responsive and helpful. We had one small issue figuring out how to get the fireplace to work and she had her father come over to help us within minutes! Some of the features that are especially lovely include: said fireplace, the hot tub, the water feature in the background, the master bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen overlooking the cozy living room. It's a spacious home with lots of windows and natural light. Highly recommend staying here with your family or a group of people!

I needed to relax for a getaway weekend from work so I booked this place. First of all, Zapher is an awesome host, very responsive. The location is very peaceful and quiet which is everything I needed. The hot tub was super clean as were the beds and the entire house. There is an insanely huge garden that is so neatly arranged where I had the best time reading a book. I'm looking forward for another getaway soon at this location. Such an awesome place.
