House holiday rentals in South Carlsbad State Beach

Vanessa was very communicative & answered any questions right away. The location is PERFECT! A short walk to the beach. The house had so much for our kiddos to do & was fully equipped! Definitely kid friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need! The pool and hot tub were beautiful & clean! The downfall to the hot tub, is you have to turn it on an hour before you use it each time. I believe it’s new so they’re still working out some kinks with the buttons. Vanessa was helpful with this though. There are also apartment complexes that look down into the yard, so not much privacy. I would rate this a 5, but there are a few cons. We had 8 people in our group, 3 being children. Thankfully we were all family so we snuggled in, but I think it’s more like a 6 person house or you are on small cots. You’re kind of on top of each other. The floors are creaky so no sleeping in once someone is awake & the furniture could use some updating. It was torn. Overall the location makes it 5 stars

We had a fantastic time at KC's place! He was very prompt with his responses and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was spacious, private, and offered a stunning view. We requested the pool to be heated, and it was wonderfully warm—far better than other Airbnb experiences we've had. The house itself was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. We also felt very safe in the area. We would absolutely love to return to KC's house and highly recommend it

We will definitely be booking to Tooraj’s place whenever we are in San Diego. The place is beautiful and has had super cool decor/esthetic. You can tell that time was taken to make it comfortable and interesting. It really felt like we were escaping to a unique place. The pool and hot tub were great! The pool was warm and private. More towels than we could use, which may not seem like a big deal, but I’ve been in Airbnb’s that don’t give enough towels. Plenty of kitchen appliances and walkable to groceries stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. Tooraj was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Great place!

Miguel's AIRBNB was beautiful. The backyard was gorgeous and the interior was clean and clutter free. The arcade machines took me back to my childhood and I really enjoyed lounging in the pool. Cowles Mountain is a great nearby attraction if you want a bit of hiking and there's a nice coffee shop just up the road as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a safe and clean location. We had no problem driving to Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach for dinner or exploration. Thank you for the amazing stay 🙏🏽

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was a great, clean space! Our only minor complaint is that there weren't spare sheets/pillows and there was only 1 roll of paper towels when we arrived at the Airbnb. Otherwise an amazing time! Lacee was also quick to reply to any questions and provided clear instructions for check-in/check-out

Staying here was a wonderful experience. It is a great location and extremely family friendly. Vi, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Very quiet secure spot in gated area. Short uber rides to either San Diego or the airport. Loved the readily accessible parking inside the gated area. Very hospitable host.

Me and my family had a great stay at Andrew’s apartment! The large patio is a huge plus. If you like peace and quite at night it really and mean really is quite after 10pm, near where the apartment is. And location is on spot as well, you have 2 beaches in either side of you in a walking distance, one is on the bay and the is facing the ocean. I would recommend anyone to stay at Andrew’s place!

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We felt right at home and was left with everything we could have possibly have needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. This home will be a great place to stay in the warmer weather too. We comfortable unfortunately could not enjoy the pool due to winter weather, but it was ready to go, if we were crazy enough to swim. We would definitely consider this home again in the future.

Charming little Cottage in a perfect, downtown La Jolla location. Walk to anything. La Jolla Cove and beaches. Grocery store and restaurants all in walking distance.

Wonderful spacious house for a family vacation. The location was convenient to attractions and we enjoyed the backyard, soaking up the California sun.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Jaime's place! I would highly recommend staying here! The view was incredible and the inside was spotless. All six members of our family felt extremely comfortable staying here while we were in town for a wedding. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee while enjoying the view from the deck! The location felt really central to everything we were doing. Jaime was extremely responsive to any questions I had. It was truly a beautiful "home away from home" for all of us!! I would give it more than five stars if I could! Thank you, Jaime, for a wonderful stay!!

Loved Helen’s home! The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. And a quick 10-15 minute drive to surf swamis and Cardiff. The home had everything we needed, we would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay with my family for a week while celebrating a wedding. Location is very walkable to stores, restaurants and both the bay side and ocean side beaches. The house had plenty of beach chairs, towels and sand toys for our needs. The baby gates at each stairway were a very welcomed feature. A large dining table allowed us plenty of space for eating and later playing cards. The house was clean, well stocked and Michael very responsive. We would definitely stay again if we were back that way!

We traveled here with our 2 kids (7,5) and it was an excellent experience. Easy to find, accessible to attractions in the area, good food and coffee nearby. The place was exactly as described and was clean and felt safe. Would definitely recommend.

Jacob’s home is by far the MOST children friendly Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. They had all the things (high chair, baby bath, pack n play AND toddler mattress!!) ready for the 3 kiddos in our stay. It’s a lovely residential neighborhood so nice for some quick walks, close enough to downtown Carlsbad to access the great coffee shop and Legoland (our main event). Would def stay here again!

This is a well maintained clean house with a gorgeous outdoor patio and peaceful views. We appreciated the different outdoor spaces where family members could relax in the shade, play tennis, cool off in the pool or cook dinner on the grill. The gated neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located about 20 minutes from many beautiful surfing beaches and parks. We loved morning beach trips, and the outdoor shower was perfect for easy clean up. Although the owners live on site in the other half of this large residence, we only saw them when we happened to leave the driveway at the same time. Overall a very calm & peaceful place for a San Diego trip.

This home is a truly wonderful find! The background and view of San Marcos is stunning and the house has a regal, yet comforting feel to it. We had 5 girls sleeping here comfortably and enjoyed our time in the home so much. The host, Leah, was very responsive and helpful. We had one small issue figuring out how to get the fireplace to work and she had her father come over to help us within minutes! Some of the features that are especially lovely include: said fireplace, the hot tub, the water feature in the background, the master bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen overlooking the cozy living room. It's a spacious home with lots of windows and natural light. Highly recommend staying here with your family or a group of people!

I needed to relax for a getaway weekend from work so I booked this place. First of all, Zapher is an awesome host, very responsive. The location is very peaceful and quiet which is everything I needed. The hot tub was super clean as were the beds and the entire house. There is an insanely huge garden that is so neatly arranged where I had the best time reading a book. I'm looking forward for another getaway soon at this location. Such an awesome place.
