Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Soufriere

My family stayed at Sweet Breezes for 7 nights. We wanted something grand, outside the city, with picturesque views. Sweet Breezes did not disappoint. The rooftop deck is breathtaking. The view of the Gros Piton, the ocean and St. Vincent, the sunsets, the sunrises, the moon, the countless stars were amazing. We used the kitchen often, had multiple meals on the main deck, even fired up the charcoal grill one evening. The rooms are as shown. Our daughter claimed the larger yellow room, our son the smaller blue room, and we took the main orange bedroom. The shower in the main bedroom with the view of the ocean through the open windows is something we won't soon forget. The villa had everything. Plenty of towels, wine glasses, dishes, and hot water. I want to thank Garvin, Kern, Ricky, and Gregory. We felt very safe. It was very peaceful, and quiet. I would recommend a car. We had a gutless AWD Honda Vezel and had no problems. Highly recommend Sabwisha Beach, only 10min away. Thank you.

Staying at this villa near Soufriere was truly one of the most magical experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the jaw-dropping views of the Grand Piton and surrounding landscape. Ending the night with star gazing and the moonlit Piton was like a dream. The villa itself was beautiful, peaceful, and immaculately kept, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home. The infinity pool was so beautiful it was hard to leave and explore what else the island offered. What really made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. A special shout-out goes to Glenda, the house manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Her warmth, kindness, and attention to detail were unmatched. Whether we needed help booking local activities, or just having questions about the area, Glenda was always there with a smile and a solution. This place is a true gem—thank you, Glenda, and thank you to the whole team.

This apartment exceeded all expectations! Immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, it has everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail in the design and amenities is outstanding, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is perfect for exploring Soufriere, offering a genuine local experience while feeling completely safe. The views from the porches—whether it’s the sunset over the town or the breathtaking Pitons—are absolutely gorgeous. To top it off, the host was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Highly recommend staying here!

The house met our needs and was very comfortable and reasonable. Easy location to walk to town or the beach. Monique and her sister both checked in to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. They were great hosts. Thank you.

The villa is central to all the must-see spots around Soufrière. We enjoy exploring new places and found the locals of the Fond Saint Jacques community to be quite friendly. Craig was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area too. We loved the backyard plunge pool space for relaxing in the mornings and evenings! The home was clean and beds were very comfortable.

A lovely home that was the perfect base for our stay in Sofriere. Really peaceful and had everything that we needed. Close to a supermarket so we could cook for ourselves and we really appreciated that there was basics such as oil etc already in the kitchen. Thank you Donalene for always being responsive to messages and being so helpful.

From the moment we landed at the airport until departure, the experience was amazing! The property was impeccably clean and the pool overlooked a breathtaking view. It was close enough to local attractions and restaurants, yet nestled in a peaceful area. Overall, this rental was nothing short of spectacular! Randy you are an amazing host! Thank you for answering all questions prior to arrival as well as during our stay. I will definitely be returning. Oh and I must mention our driver Jermal, who is the extra razzle dazzle to Nirvana Villa!!! Jermal contributed to the best travel experiece ever!!! I can't thank Jermal enough for his kindness. He made every day amazing--from helping us find the best restaurants/attractions to being our favorite photographer! It's not every day that you encounter such top-notch service, and I really appreciate everyone who contributed to the 'Nirvana Villa' experience. If you are looking for a top-tier getaway experience- this is the place for you!!

Had a great stay at Sherman's place. He kindly picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the local area so we knew where things were. He was always available to either drop us off for activities we had booked or to help us with questions we had. The accomodation was in a great location with good restaurants and shops close by. Perfect place to stay if spending a few days in Soufriere.

Vinaya met us at the property on arrival and gave us a tour of all the amenities as well as answered any questions we had. Vinaya’s home was a perfect place to call home during our visit to the Delcer/Gros Piton area. We felt safe and secure with the home being a bit off the road and Vinaya’s uncle nearby checkingin with us regularly to make sure we were happy and had all we need. The Gros Piton hiking trailhead was a quick 4/5 minute drive away which made our hike up the Gros Piton that much better as we didn’t need to get up extra early to meet the 7am trail opening; and we were quickly back home to cool off and relax. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property to our friends and family. Hope to return soon

Great location...walk to downtown...personal checkin .. helpful security guard -they provieded some provisons...eggs, hot dogs, bacon, veggies.

If you look for a unique an very quiet place, wonderful view to a beautiful valley and the little Pitón, you found the perfect place. In the middle of nowhere, Calixte created a sustainable, peaceful and cosy hideaway. P. S. Make sure, that you get a 4 WD car to get to Belle Etoile.

We had a great stay! The location was great but the last bit of the road is a bit rough by car and if you like to walk, its an uphill road to the accommodation (around 15min). The view from the balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed our breakfast and morning coffee there every morning. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, there was hot water in the shower and plenty of space in the apartment. The host was friendly and welcoming. The beach is ok but the volcanos and waterfalls are the things to do around Soufriere.

Peter and his dog, Mocha, were great hosts. The apartment is exactly as pictured. The views from the porch and gardens were incredible. He met us in the driveway and helped bring in the luggage. He then took us on a walking tour of Soufriere to show us preferred restaurants, pubs and the local grocery as well as the local beach. Staying with Peter is to immerse yourself into the local West Indies culture of Soufriere. His local knowledge of the area was superb. We rented a car. When he tells you that the road to the beach that you want to visit is "interesting", you better believe it. We enjoyed chatting with Peter each day, particularly in the morning when he fed the birds bananas. The birding in his gardens was amazing. Bring binoculars! Climb Gros Piton and go to the mud baths to recover. Look at all of Peter's photos in the apartment. Besides his amazing bird photos, you just might find one of Robert Plant holding Peter's children. I don't care who you are, that's just cool.

Eloi was an amazing host! He went above and beyond for us, driving us around when our car rental fell through, giving us fruits he had grown, and being available at all hours of the day to help us with anything we needed. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs with two grocery stores within walking distance. The pool was so relaxing with a gorgeous view of the piton, which was only about a 10 minute walk from the property making it the perfect place to stay if you’re interested in hiking it. I highly recommend staying here for both the property and because of Eloi!

Charmaine and her Husband were very friendly and helpful. They addressed our needs immediately. Their place was beautiful, peaceful, clean and very spacious. I would stay again in a heartbeat. The scenery was also just gorgeous and so close to all the sites we wanted to visit. I felt like I was leaving a friend. If you get a chance to order her meals that are available for a very reasonable price, do so, it was delicious.

Javid’s villa is beautiful and in serene surroundings. He was very helpful throughout the stay, including organizing a tour for me and helping me to get to places when I didn’t have a car. I felt very safe here being a woman on a solo trip. The town of Soufriere is at a walkable distance (although it is uphill on the way back) with shops, restaurants and plenty to see. You can also access the Touraille waterfall just across the road for free (avoiding the tour crowds) when you stay at Javid’s villa. I would recommend this accommodation to solo travelers and friends/couples (not the best for families with small kids as there is a steep drop a the river behind the pool). One recommendation I would have is stocking the unit more with kitchen supplies, including stuff for washing the dished. All in all, a great stay.

Verna is an all-star host. I immediately felt welcome and taken care of when I arrived and with her help getting transportation. She gave me a tour of her large, diverse, and beautiful garden and really helped me to feel at home. The flat is spacious, clean, quiet, and has a great view. Vetus, the taxi driver she uses, is an excellent driver, timely, and a good guy. He became my guide for a day and helped me find a haircut, some clothes, and some great local food. Wilson’s is a restaurant across the street that will cook you delicious meals for a good price. Verna’s place is a 2mile walk mostly downhill to Laborie. I walked to swim in the bay and meet family staying downtown. If you’re looking for a scenic, peaceful, and welcoming accommodation, Verna’s is an excellent choice!

What an amazing trip to St.Lucia for my son and I. We truly think our stay at Topaz with Roger and Alicia was what made it so incredible. They take pride in their property and hospitality. Roger greeted us to help us get acclimated and Alicia is like your own personal travel planner! They live on the top floor and that gave us great peace of mind knowing they were close by for any questions, advice or needs during our stay. We rented a car and did quite well with my son navigating as I drove. We drove to numerous daily adventures, and we’re lucky enough to have Roger as our driver to Eden Estate one day. The apartment is located about a 10 minute walk from town, which we did several nights. If you aren’t comfortable renting a car or driving to certain locations or any locations, Alicia will assist in arranging taxi services. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience we had staying and interacting with Roger and Alicia.

Our stay at The Lookout was truly special. Achim and Carmen were kind and welcoming hosts, and it was a pleasure to meet them. Achim was very responsive and provided excellent recommendations—his great reputation among the locals in Marigot Bay was clear. The space itself was fantastic. While we weren’t quite sure what to expect with the open floor plan, we quickly felt comfortable and loved the sense of being immersed in nature. The view exceeded our expectations—it’s easily one of the best ocean views we’ve experienced. The Lookout offers the luxury and excitement of a resort but with more privacy and at a great value. We were very impressed and grateful for such a wonderful stay. Thank you, Achim and Carmen!

As a solo business traveller, I have finally found my 2nd home when I travel to SLU. Jen's place was peaceful and quiet, clean and the sunset from the patio was just amazing after a long day. The things I truly liked about this property, I felt safe, I was able to go for early morning walks and other days I was able to use the gyms although small but was just right for me. The ability to do laundry was also a plus for me. The apartment was tastefully decorated with bright colors with new and modern appliances. Jen was very responsively to any concerns and dealt with them almost immediately. If you are looking for an Airbnb in the Vieux Fort area, go ahead and book Jen's place, you would not be disappointed. Jen's place is a winner. My only recommendation would be a small lamp next to the bed side table since the light switch is not close to the bed. Jen et el, thank you for an amazing stay. I will definite return.

The home SPECIAL-spacious, well managed and maintained. Views are gorgeous. Main balcony is a magnificent-a view from the top of the island to watch boats from the bay and larger ships passing by. There is a wonderful breeze with shade or sun to choose from. We sometimes found it hard to peel ourselves away. We spent time lounging, reading, cooking fresh catch from our fishing excursion (well equipped kitchen) and watching boats, birds, rain and rainbows. It's very secure and safe, located in great proximity to beach, town and restaurants. Christine was great communicating and informing, Taja was on site-super helpful and responsive. Pool is small-limited chairs-pack a light raft float, no problem. There's a gorgeous cove and small beach you see from the balcony-walking distance. DO NOT MISS IT! Our favorite human in St. Lucia, Ean, is there with snorkeling equipment, beers, boat trips and good vibes (chairs coming soon). Go to Vee's (across from soccer field) for the BEST local food!

We had an amazing 5 days at Simon’s apartment. It really has the WOW factor! When you walk in and see the beautiful decor and furnishings along with the panoramic views all around the bay. You will find everything you need it’s just like home from home. The bay is a hive of activity, we really enjoyed sitting on our balcony people watching and seeing the beautiful boats come in and out. There are a few restaurants close buy which you can get to by water taxi which is fun. The little beach across the bay is not the best as it’s not the cleanest and the water is quite murky. However we did visit it a couple of times as it has lovely sunset views on an evening. Would highly recommend The Villa restaurant which is situated up the hill. When you make a reservation they send one of the staff down to pick you up in a buggy and take you to the restaurant. Food was excellent the Lobster was great as was the champagne! Overall I could not fault a thing,it really is one of the best! Thank you

Amazing stay here, we absolutely loved the balcony and enjoying the wonderful views! Vicky was super helpful, very response and helped us with tips and booking things when we were there. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. We used the pool a few times and that was perfect after a hot day exploring! Highly recommended this property we had the best holiday - Thank you!
