Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Soufriere

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Breezes! It was perfect for our group, which was 2 couples. The bedrooms and bathrooms were on different floors, each with access to a fantastic deck with lots of room for eating, chilling, catching a breeze, or doing yoga. We couldn't wait to get home every day from our adventures to relax on the rooftop deck! The breezes were amazing and we loved gazing at the star-filled sky. The ceiling fans really cooled things off and the standing fans in the bedrooms were a great addition. Communication with the hosts was always easy and the onsite contact person was invaluable. It was also quite a treat to be across the street from Tet Rouge resort, with their wonderful outside restaurant and friendly staff! We also loved all the flowering plants around the property, especially the Ylang Ylang tree in the front, which had the most exquisite fragrance! This apartment exceeded all expectations! Immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, it has everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail in the design and amenities is outstanding, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is perfect for exploring Soufriere, offering a genuine local experience while feeling completely safe. The views from the porches—whether it’s the sunset over the town or the breathtaking Pitons—are absolutely gorgeous. To top it off, the host was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Highly recommend staying here!

Nia made our trip. She helped us with recommendations and navigating Soufriere. We landed on Sunday so she made accommodations for grocery needs. The town does water outages and Nia was able to help us with that. Being within walking distance to the town made our stay wonderful. The beach is across the road and if you treat the locals with respect, they treat with the same respect. Soufriere was a great experience!!

Incredible stay at the Paradise Factory! Phil's house is just beyond words- so beautiful - situated in the most perfect and peaceful surroundings that comes with breath taking views. From the moment we booked, until we checked out, everything was flawless. Top notch hospitality, very responsive, extremely friendly and helpful. Garvin, who takes care of the villa, was super helpful in every way he could. He went above and beyond. We are so glad that our paths crossed with these genuinely nice people. They all made us feel like family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back 🙌

We are so pleased that we decided to stay at this charming house. It is as described and we totally felt at home. It was only two of us and we had lots of space. It would be great for a larger group also. The Veranda out front is a highlight and we got to see so many folks from the community. Everything you need is here. It is pretty quiet, particular when in a bedroom. The walk to to beach is easy and short - I could quickly go for a dip whenever I wanted. We also loved the vibe at the local beach - so that helped. Monique was always responsive and her sister lives around the corner and was always helpful and kind. No issues whatsoever, and staying here you have access to all the local attractions. As well, you can go either north or south to explore further and use Soufriere as a central spot. I very easily felt like home here and if (or when) I visit the island I would not hesitate to book here again and stay in Soufriere. I already miss it and it.

Craig was an amazing host. Very responsive, and his colleague Shameka was equally great. The house itself was well equipped, spacious, and very comfortable. Approximately 10 mins to town, and 15-20 mins to major attractions. Our family had a great time and want to thank Craig for being such a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful stay at Donalene’s place! The place looks exactly like the photos, well kept and spacious. Donalene’s daughter, Je-Anne, was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and connected us with a local driver, Whitney, who was great. Neighbourhood was safe and friendly and great location for the piton hikes, snorkeling, etc. Some restaurants are walkable but if you’re looking for great food with a view, we highly recommend driving or getting a taxi to Dasheene (Ladera) or Mango Tree. If you’re looking for a beach day, keep in mind pool chairs on sugar beach run $100 USD per chair, anse chastanet we were told are $50. Thanks Donalene and Je-Anne, hope to return one day!

This newly built house in St. Lucia is a true gem! The modern design and large windows offer stunning views of lush greenery. It was peaceful, spacious, and immaculately clean. Nirvana was a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience to local attractions. Randy was very welcoming and ensured all our needs were met. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend for those looking for a sleek and modern retreat. Note: Be mindful of the road leading up to the property, it was a bit rough since it's unpaved.

We've stayed at Soufriere Estates for the past two years because we love it. It's private, spacious and a lush rain forest feel just moments away from the botanical garden. Staff is wonderful and the Old Mill Restaurant, with consistantly great local food, is just down the hill from the residence. Check-in is a breeze, with transportation recommendations given by the host. We are fit and love walking into town, to the local grocery store, local restaurants and the Soufriere Bay. If you love a lush, natural environment (including your own vacation pet!) you will love this place.

This charming house in Delcer is a gem. The setting, privacy and interactions with local neighbors exceeded our expectations. We three adults stayed in this two br apt for 1 week. The (air conditioned) master br and (fan-cooled) smaller room were modest, but clean and charming. Mosquito netting much appreciated. We ate most of our meals “home”, and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. In particular we got hooked on the local “Green Seasoning” sauce. The views from the porch are spectacular, especially sunsets and brilliance of the night skies. We walked down to Anse L’Ivogne for snorkeling a few times. It’s a hot walk, so be sure to stop at The View for cold Piton beer and bring a snack. The walk back up is tiring, but just take your time to enjoy the scenery. Vin was very responsive to anything we needed. I wished we had consulted with her to get a driver for the week. We relied on a taxi driver rather than renting a car. We loved our stay in south St Lucia.

We had an amazing time at Jonelle's place. The appartment was larger than expected and the AC in the room (in addition to the living room) was a pleasant surprise. The proximity to the store and the furnished kitchen really made our life easier during our stay. Jonelle was very responsive and gave us plenty of tips to make the most out of our stay. Calixto is an excellent host, caring about his guests ! No restaurants nearby but freshly prepared and tasty food can be obtained nearby, cooked by Delon). Twisty flavors is a restaurant down the hill of Calixte’s house. We recommend!

Ideally located, with a measure of isolation for privacy and within a 15 minute walk of the downtown area, we found that Whitney and Lewis have created outstanding value at Sugarmon Villas. All of the basics are here, from a nice patio area with a great view over the town, drying rack, laundry facility, small pool for cooling off and even a host cat named Wally. Our hosts provided outstanding service from advice, lifts to and from town, recommendations and of course some guided comments to keep us on the beaten track. Anything needed for our stay was met.There is a track/path down through a housing area onto a small street to avoid walking on the highway with no shoulders. The Massey store is fairly close and again, walkable and well stocked. There is also a local bakery fairly close by, more economical and I highly recommend the chicken pasties and coconut desserts. Overall Sugarmon Villas offers very good value for the price point and delivers on what they advertise. Share

Staying at Peter’s home ranks amongst our top vacations because of the kind hospitality and unbeatable views. He always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and took time out of his life to show us around town. This experience was truly what we’ve missed after staying at many Airbnb’s over the last decade and that is- a host who truly cares. We are already missing this little piece of paradise and our friendly hosts, Peter & mocha!

Eloi’s place was gorgeous! I only wish we had more time to enjoy the pool and the view! Eloi was extremely communicative and flexible when we had some unfortunate travel plans! Thank you Eloi, we will definitely be back and recommending your place!

The Suite Spot is the best airbnb we have stayed in. The property was immaculate, the attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous comfy bed, good quality bed linen lush fluffy towels, dressing gowns, beach towels and so much more. Fantastic rum bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk away and the beach a 2 minute walk. it was lovely to return to The Suite Spot after a long day and be greeted by Arletta. Sitting outside by the decking in the morning listening to Soufriere life waking up in the background was a favourite moment. Arletta went above and beyond, a wonderful host. She recommended the Marcelus the driver...highly recommend, very reliable and good rates. Also Ted the boat taxi man was recommended. Brilliant time was had on the speed boat. We shall miss Arletta and the Suite Spot so very much and are already planning to return. Thank you Arletta for everything you have done; all the treats, the smiles, the advice and most of all your friendship. 5 * rating.

The hosts of this AirBnb--Roger and Alicia--are fabulous. From the moment we arrived until we left, they were available 'round the clock to help us make reservations, save money, obtain local transportation, see the best beaches, and tour the best sites. They made us fee like family and enabled us to enjoy the beauty of St. Lucia while also immersing ourselves in the pulse of the local culture. A word of caution to travelers thinking of renting a car: We rented one, but ended up returning it to the rental agency after a couple of days. The roads are narrow, require left-side driving, and edged with deep, open gutters that your car can fall into if you make a small mistake. Driving was too stressful, and we used hassle-free taxis as an alternative at about the same cost as the car rental.

We had an incredible stay at The Lookout! The view is nothing short of breathtaking and the outdoor-living, open-concept style was a unique and beautiful touch to our stay on the island. We had many stunning mornings, beautiful sunsets and nights under the stars. Achim was fantastic - attentive, welcoming and full of great recommendations. The property is a bit off the beaten path but the journey up was absolutely worth it. It was within close driving distance to Marigot Bay and we had a lovely day down there. Overall, a great unique and peaceful place to stay on the island!

As a solo business traveller, I have finally found my 2nd home when I travel to SLU. Jen's place was peaceful and quiet, clean and the sunset from the patio was just amazing after a long day. The things I truly liked about this property, I felt safe, I was able to go for early morning walks and other days I was able to use the gyms although small but was just right for me. The ability to do laundry was also a plus for me. The apartment was tastefully decorated with bright colors with new and modern appliances. Jen was very responsively to any concerns and dealt with them almost immediately. If you are looking for an Airbnb in the Vieux Fort area, go ahead and book Jen's place, you would not be disappointed. Jen's place is a winner. My only recommendation would be a small lamp next to the bed side table since the light switch is not close to the bed. Jen et el, thank you for an amazing stay. I will definite return.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! The villa was so comfortable, large and clean. The views and quiet was so peaceful and relaxing. It made even having to stay in so wonderful because you can just enjoy the cool breeze, ocean views and nature sounds and chill. The location was close to restaurants and Marigot bay beach. The check-in instructions and directions were very clear and easy to follow. We had no trouble finding the place even though we arrived at night. The roads around the island can be rough (potholes, steep hills and winding roads) but we more than made do with a compact car. The value was unbeatable. Christine was very responsive even at 11:00 at night when I got sick and she gave me all the info to find a hospital at that time. She was proactive with restaurant recommendations and other things to do. Taja took care of us and she is super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate, book it now!

We had an amazing 5 days at Simon’s apartment. It really has the WOW factor! When you walk in and see the beautiful decor and furnishings along with the panoramic views all around the bay. You will find everything you need it’s just like home from home. The bay is a hive of activity, we really enjoyed sitting on our balcony people watching and seeing the beautiful boats come in and out. There are a few restaurants close buy which you can get to by water taxi which is fun. The little beach across the bay is not the best as it’s not the cleanest and the water is quite murky. However we did visit it a couple of times as it has lovely sunset views on an evening. Would highly recommend The Villa restaurant which is situated up the hill. When you make a reservation they send one of the staff down to pick you up in a buggy and take you to the restaurant. Food was excellent the Lobster was great as was the champagne! Overall I could not fault a thing,it really is one of the best! Thank you

Fantastic clean and large place to stay, local area and full of friendly neighbours. Nice local bars down the road. Easy minibus ride to Vieux Fort or the beach, you can flag down the minibus right outside the house. Florence picked us up from the airport, is ever so friendly and is the best at communicating so it all seems so easy. Definitely worth a stay.

Magdelana and her AirBNB were wonderful. Magdelena is a great host who provided lots of information about local activities and checked in frequently. Her husband and son were also very friendly and helpful. The AirBNB itself was comfortable and clean. Wifi and AC worked well. It was located in a residential area with no safety concerns. Street parking was no problem. There are nearby local supermarkets, restaurants, a beach and numerous activities but a car is essential.
