Cottage holiday rentals in Solvang

Jennifer is an extremely hospitable and generous host! She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and always with a friendly demeanor. We had a fantastic time at the Fantastical Cottage! Jennifer's place is truly magical and my wife was constantly thinking she was in a wonderland! Very much looking forward to returning some time very soon.

Such an adorable cottage! Well appointed, great attention to detail, really lovely accessories and plants and furniture. Extremely comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with double sinks. Very peaceful for the most part. We really enjoyed our visit and they even offered us to take some lemons and mandarins off their trees. We will definitely be back.

This location was fantastic and provided everything we could possibly need. The home was cozy and comfortable for the two of us. Although parking was not dedicated, the spaces available on the street were ample and most often within a block. The beds were comfortable and the yard was perfect. We did not partake in the hot tub, but it looked excellent. We would/will stay here again should we be in town.

4 of us stayed at Angie's place for a long weekend and had a lovely time! She is super welcoming and responsive, the place is quirky and unique, had everything we needed and is quite comfortable. It's in an excellent location and her decks are gorgeous. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone!

What a peaceful place tucked in a quiet hilltop full of nature surroundings. Absolutely no traffic/people noise and lots darkness with an incredible view when the fog rolls away. It blew our minds! A perfect base of operations for a week stay with all we needed and the host right next door (over a private gate) which was helpful when we had a few needs that he responded quickly and kindly. We were impressed how close we were to things even though it felt like we were far, far away. We cannot wait to stay there again! Note to those that drive a Tesla, do NOT use the car gps/maps. It won’t get you there in a direct route. Use Google maps. Plan at least one evening to enjoy the night sky from the hot tub and deck with fire table and grill. It’s not to be missed.

Jonah’s place was absolutely fabulous and peaceful. We really enjoyed making good use of the bbq and had some great drinks and got to know Jonah, who is very friendly and knows all the ins and outs of the area. With his great recommendations we were able to have a fabulous dinner at a popular restaurant in the city and I have to say that pasta was probably the best I’ve had in a while. We felt very at home and safe during our stay. We loved the fur friends that the property came with and would love to visit again in the future ! Thanks for the hospitality !

Remarkable. We had a great time that we will not soon forget. The area ia quiet and being close to the farm and animals was right up our alley. My son loved feeding the goats. We played the miniputt everyday. We enjoyed the spa at night before bed. Great little place with charming amenities. The town is lots of fun and beautiful. Good memories! Thank you.

Loved staying at Dawn’s lovely bungalow! It was super homey, well-thought-out, had everything we needed for coffee and cooking, close to coffee shops and everything you want/need. LOVED the out door living area. Dawn was a lovely, communicative host, I highly recommend her and her home sweet home!

A lovely, spacious, centrally located Airbnb situated in the beautiful Pico garden, this was the perfect spot for our weekend work trip! It had everything we would ever need and more. Would definitely stay here again!

Jesse’s place was a relaxing delight. A short walk to the ocean and the sand dunes of Oceano and Pismo, this is a lovely spot to also sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the coastal wetland - birds in the morning and starry skies and frogs at night. Jesse was beyond accommodating. Her house is set up to make for an easy stay. Seems silly, but I extra appreciated the covers on the outdoor furniture, which meant that some rain here and there didn’t soak everything and make the deck unusable for the whole stay. Thought we would miss out on the ocean view but the wetland sunsets on the deck, and easy walks to the beach made the spot perfect.

Location walking distance to the beach, right across Hwy 1, was great, and short drive into Morro. Sylvia was quick with communication. Her house had everything we needed. Had some run ins with ants in the kitchen but nothing major. Just couldn’t leave food out on the counters overnight.

Our stay at Jim's place was a perfect get away. A very nice location, the house was very clean and cozy. Beautiful scenery of Morro Rock on the rooftop. I definitely will be staying again. I recommend it if you want a very relaxing escape this is a perfect choice. 😃

We loved it here at Aaron's cottage. The place was furnished with love and we had everything we needed for our stay. The deck was perfect for our two pups and Aaron was just so hospitable. He made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The location itself is ideal! Lemons galore and a quick walk to the Arroyo Grande Village for a glass of wine, outdoor dining and the best bakery (Mule) to grab your coffee and croissants. The kitchen was also set up beautifully and we were able to make some healthy meals to offset the decadent ones. I would highly recommend that you stay here and I'll be back if we come back to this area!

My wife and I had a lovely time visiting Ventura. The fountain and greenery around the house attracted a beautiful multitude of birds to watch. Aside from that entertainment, it was only a very short walk to the great downtown main street with lots of shops and restaurants. Staying here was a great experience!

We loved staying at Fawns place. So close to the beach and great restaurants, we also loved the farmers market on Sunday. Will definitely be staying at Fawns place again!

Delightful, comfortable place with backyard chickens (quiet) and bees supplying fresh eggs and honey to those of us lucky enough to secure a reservation. Hosts bend over backwards to provide staples and great communication. It’s a home you would like to have!

This little cottage was rustic and peaceful. The water fountain was soothing at night. We really wanted to try the fire ring outside but there was a lot to do nearby. Nothing on the host, just a note for out of towners, things close up by 5 so plan accordingly.

Excellent stay! Very welcoming and the place was perfect for the weekend, very spacious for a longer stay too! Host was very prompt and left clear instructions!

Kim and Tom’s Camp Cottonwood house is beautiful and comfortable. Everything works as expected and supplies are well-stocked. The backyard is awe-inspiringly spacious — big enough to host a wedding, we joked. Their home is a gem in Los Alamos, convenient and cozy. Los Alamos is a cute village that’s close to Santa Maria and Solvang. Kim and Tom are very welcoming hosts. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice.

Can’t recommend this space highly enough. It was a dream to stay here!

The house was very clean and perfect size for my wife and I plus our two goldens. Everything you need to feel at home is supplied. Tiana, the host, was extremely communicative which was extremely helpful. The fenced in backyard was amazing! We (including the dogs) felt so welcome. We will be looking for this place again on future visits!

This beachside cottage in Summerland is a total gem! Amazing location 5 mins walk from beach, near to all of the local restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The decor is lovely, house is super clean- you can just tell the owners take such pride in their property. You can have your pup there with no hassle (super dog friendly area). The hosts are really above and beyond- were super responsive (super quick), and just lovely and generous with recs and help with anything we needed. I’ve stayed in other airbnbs in Summerland before and I can tell you this one is truly at the top of the list!
