Holiday houses in Slavic Village

Where we stay is important to us and this cozy cottage made our hearts sing! From the well stocked kitchen to the private backyard, we found the rest and relaxation we needed to recharge from our daily stressors. A warm and charming home well worth visiting.

Lisa has been more than just a host to us—she has truly become a part of our family over the past three years. From the very first stay, her warmth and hospitality made her place feel like home, but over time, she became so much more. Our fives children, who were little ones when we started, now call her Auntie Lisa without hesitation, and it’s a title she has more than earned. Staying with Lisa is not just about accommodation; it’s about love, care, and connection. She goes above and beyond to create a space that’s welcoming and nurturing. Whether it’s her thoughtful touches around the home, her knack for anticipating our needs, or just the way she takes the time to genuinely engage with us, Lisa’s presence makes all the difference. Coming back to our own house now feels a little emptier, as if something is missing. Normally, there’s that excitement to return home after being away, but for us, “home” feels wherever Lisa is. She has become a cornerstone of our lives.

The three cottages are really beautiful in a wonderful location. I strongly suggested it for a weekend close to cleveland but also in the nature.

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

Jennifer’s place is a comfortable, warm 1818 home. I loved the work station, and the click of the keyboard was very satisfying. Antiques adorn the various rooms. The downstairs full bathroom has the cutest European toilet with sink on top. All bedrooms are upstairs with super comfortable beds for a restful night. The full upstairs bathroom has two sinks and a relaxing shower. The stairs are a bit steep upstairs, so older folks might prefer to sleep downstairs on the pull-out couch. The kitchen is well-stocked, and she surprised us with eggs and a fresh loaf of bread. Jennifer is quick to respond to questions, and she takes great care to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

This house is comfortable, and convenient for our needs. We appreciated Dan's diligence when it snowed. Shovel was there, he brought salt, and he offered to shovel for us, too.

Great spot right off of the interstate! We were about 15 minutes from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse and the Cleveland Aquarium which we were in town to visit. This was the perfect place for a quick getaway. Clean, had everything we needed, and in a convenient location. We’ll be back!

Our group of 7 were able to comfortably spend some time together before going out for New Year's Eve. The house is very close to both Ohio City and Tremont attractions. Had we stayed at a hotel it would have cost way more and we would not have been able to hang out all together. The house is very old but that's the charm of it. It has so much character and has been remodeled very nicely. There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms were all very nice. The only issue we had was the TV in the kitchen did not pick up anything. We did get the one working in the living room instead so it was not a huge deal. I would recommend the house if you want to spend some time in the area. Thanks Daniel for hosting and also letting us park in the back. It made it easy to unpack things and repack them in the morning. Happy New Year!
