Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Skennars Head

We had our family Christmas with 3 families here and found the property amazing. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with the items available for cooking etc. The pool was beautiful and well used by kids and adults on our trip. We found the electric bbq wasn’t able to be used for BBQing it just lost all heat when the lid was open. But had everything available in the kitchen that we could still cook. We were amazed with how many towels Elaine and John had available for us as well as beach towels. We’ve already recommended the house to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to come back and visit again.

Unique space (love the high-roofed living room) and well managed, would come again.

Such a beautiful spot, relaxing outlook on the back alfresco watching the native wildlife and sounds of waves from the beach just a short stroll over the headlands, great central location to Pottsville and a short bike ride away from Hastings Point. Will stay again!

Staying att Gillians place was a highlight of our vacation, her place is even more stunning in reality. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to have easy access to everything the Byron Shire has to offer and still be able to land back in a house that is comfortable, beautiful and with a feeling of home away from home. Luke’s home is a true escape. I had the chance to meet him and he was friendly and welcoming—a thoughtful host who added a personal touch to our stay. The Balinese-inspired decor, filled with unique art and treasures, creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and liveable. The chef’s kitchen was a dream to cook in, with its huge fridge and oven, and the entire space was spotlessly clean. Tucked away in the bush, surrounded by trees and complete privacy, it’s the perfect retreat. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the small pool was pristine and refreshing. With plenty of air conditioning and thoughtful touches throughout, it was effortless to relax and unwind. This place is special—a seamless blend of tranquility, style, and comfort. I left feeling refreshed and thinking of plans for another visit. Highly recommended! Thanks, Luke!

Beautiful yard and our pups loved running on the lush lawns. We even were allowed to take some dragon fruit. Gorgeous and peaceful...will definitely visit again.

Paul’s lovely comfortable home is in a fantastic location and a short walk to many cafes, restaurants, shops and markets. It was very clean and we loved sitting on the back patio to have our breakfast. Beautiful garden too

Lovely place and Asta was super easy to communicate with. We loved the location with easy walk to Belongil Beach - which we actually preferred to Main Beach in Byron. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Byron is a great place to visit - particularly enjoyed the walk to the lighthouse and even saw a wild koala in a tree. Asta’s place is super comfy and well decorated. Was great having AC and washer dyer. Easy to park - would not have wanted a place without dedicated parking space. Overall - a great visit. Would love to come back some time.

Lovely place to stay as a base for checking out the local areas. Fantastic location with beautiful views of the mountain. Mark was very attentive to detail and liked the offer to cater for milk options. Would recommend this place to others. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

Great local spot, spacious apartment and a really easy stay made possible by the host. Icecream shop downstairs didn't dissapoint either.

Stuart's place is excellent and in a great location. Had everything you would need for a stay. Stuart kindly personally greeted us and was great about communicating important things.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Check in was very easy and everything was clean. The apartment was walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars and about a 3 minute walk across to the beach. The apparent complex was clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, what can I say about the Secret Garden?! It is perfect for a family base from which to explore Bruns and the surrounding area. Instantly felt at home, it is big but cosy. All beds and rooms comfortable. The kitchen and laundry/utility is so so well setup, everything you could possibly need is there. Holly and Tony were lovely to deal with at all times and I’m only sorry I didn’t meet them in person due to us being out and about a lot! Would highly recommend to anyone. And hope to return one day!!

The photos didn’t do this place justice! A great space with lots of room for 4 guest and excellent kitchen space perfect for cooking. Location couldn’t be closer yet remains quiet. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Janice.

Micka was an amazing host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly proactive with communication. The apartment was charming and conveniently located within walking distance of everything in town, including the beach, shops, and restaurants. I especially enjoyed connecting with him and his girlfriend, which made me feel right at home, as if I were staying with a local friend. I look forward to coming back and visiting soon!

We stayed 3 nights in the apartment and we loved every second of it. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with a lot of attention for detail. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Jac was very responsive. We can only recommend this wonderful place!

The apartment is better than the photos depict! The balcony surrounded by trees is a lovely place to hang out. Parking on street is so handy, walking distance into the bustle but quiet. Very nice, spacious apartment, comfortable and would definitely stay again.

Had another fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect—everything you need is right at your fingertips, from great shops to restaurants and the beach. The place itself is spotless, and I have to mention how much I love the fragrance on the linens and throughout the rooms; it’s such a nice touch and makes the whole stay feel extra cozy. This was my second time visiting, and it definitely won’t be my last! Highly recommend!
