Clean, absolutely everything is exactly as described...we were 2 families on a ski trip and this spot was perfect for us. Very responsive host, beautiful location. We'll probably come back next year!

Amazing views and within 5 mins to Purgatory ski resort. You feel right at home. The space is relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing and it's in a great location for the mountain views. I definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I've stayed at numerous places in Colorado over my lifetime, and this one has to be the best. The location was ideal for us, and the place was fantastic. The views, the huge deck with an amazing hot tub, the spacious living area with enough seating for all 6 of us (and then some), the most amazingly stocked kitchen of any rental - the list goes on and on. The entire host team responded quickly and gave us local recommendations, as well. My father-in-law is already talking about bringing the grandkids next year! My dad told me several times a day what a great find I made. We all loved it so much and can't wait to return! Thanks for a great week!

Nice place to getaway and enjoy some mountain air

If you’re heading to Durango for vacation this is the spot to stay. Perfectly located to food, liquor, the city, and a super easy drive to purgatory ski resort. Will definitely book again next time a come down for a ski trip.

The cabin was very nice and the location is very beautiful! We booked last minute after having to cancel our original plans because of wildfires, and this was the perfect ‘plan b.’ We enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery of the area and found much to do.

We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here, waking up to the beautiful snow covered mountain and tree tops was memorable! The cabin was cozy, hot tub warm and plenty of wood pellets to keep the fire going. We appreciated the snow plow operator who shoveled the walks for us during our stay. Plenty of games and books for entertainment. The jetted bath tub could use a good cleaning/maintenance. Definitely 4x4 or AWD required to reach the property in a snow storm and would recommend bringing enough groceries if a storm is forecasted. The road is well packed and maintained, but steep at times. Thanks for having us!

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Basecamp. Ellen and Steve were extremely attentive, but not overwhelming. They are truly the best hosts we’ve ever experienced! It was the cleanest home we’ve stayed in. You got the peace and quiet of nature, but still 10 minutes from town. Had everything we needed and more, Ellen and Steve were so kind to stock the kitchen with granola bars, oatmeal, popcorn, and tea and coffee! We came for a mini moon after our wedding and walked into flowers, chocolate, champagne, and a lovely card. Felt like we were right at home! Will definitely be back.

Anne's Zen Cabin was just that...ZEN! It was a wonderful, peaceful stay and I definitely recommend! Anne was super helpful and communicative. The deck was probably my favorite part--I loved being able to open the doors to enjoy the lovely mountain breeze and for my pups to hang out and be lazy. The kitchen was updated and super clean. One note: there is no coffee provided, as with many/most Airbnbs - not a complaint at all, I shouldn't have assumed - but for those that need a cup of joe first thing in the mornings, be sure to bring your own as the closest place to get coffee is a bit of a drive. Overall, I loved Anne's cabin and hated to leave!

Great location, beautiful grounds would love to stay again

Danielle's place exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained the property was. The house was exactly as described and even better in person. The secluded location provided so much peace and privacy, which made for a truly relaxing getaway. We loved watching wildlife outside every day—it felt like we were completely immersed in nature. Even though the property feels remote, it's incredibly convenient—just a quick 10-minute drive to Pagosa Springs, where we enjoyed exploring the town, soaking in the hot springs, and visiting local shops and restaurants. The best of both worlds: privacy and accessibility! The house itself was stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. The wood-burning stove was a highlight for us, and we spent every evening by the fire, enjoying the cozy ambiance. It was such a treat to have a homey, welcoming space. We will be back!

This space is so much bigger than expected!! The couch was super nice and comfy and reclined 🤩 loved the patio space too. It was great for having 5 people in there. So walkable to anything but that’s also Lake City since it’s small. It was really great.

What a cute, cozy and well appointed cabin. Perfect for 2 people and our dog. Lots of thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathroom that we appreciated. We enjoyed the electric fireplace as well.

My husband, dog, and I absolutely loved this place. We spent the entire trip either in the cabin or outside walking. The cabin was well-stocked with supplies and games. The views and scenery were stunning. Highly recommend!

Very nice quiet, privet place to stay. We usually have stayed in condos in this area. I prefer this cabin stay a little better and it didn’t cost much more.

Our family really enjoyed our mountain cabin escape and would recommend it.

It was my first time glamping with my daughter for our birthday trip and we had the best time ever! I will definitely be coming back as much as I possibly can! Thank you for being so wonderful and giving us the best birthday trip ever!

The Bunkhouse is so cozy, airy, clean, easy to get to, and accessible. The views are spectacular. Barney adds such warm touches and is so kind and thoughtful. You must try it out!

Loved my first stay at Elk Point. The waterfront & new deck are both beautiful. The Cowgirl cabin is tiny, but very well equipped. Perfect for a solo traveler with dog 🐾

We had a wonderful stay. Mike is friendly and responsive, the views are beautiful, and the cabin is spotless. This was our second stay at this cabin and will not be our last—highly recommend!
