Perfect place to stay if visiting Shoal bay. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely clean apartment with a beautiful balcony. Great host, responsive to messages very helpful, would recommend this apartment.

We loved our stay. Not sure there is a better location in Newcastle than on that headland! Beautiful views and easy access to the coastal boardwalk. Was great watching the surf from the balcony and the city view at night was fantastic. Easy on site parking. Definitely recommend.

Linda is a person with a heart of gold. The kind of experience that defines humanity still exists. Myself and my family migrated from India to Australia and we were not getting a home for rent and that is why we decided to take Linda’s Airbnb. She also gave us a few tips and was also gracious enough to extend our stay until we could sustain ourselves. There is everything you need at Linda’s place and the outside views are amazing.Thanks for everything and may we meet again.

Absolutely loved the location. 5 minutes and you're on the beach. Lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Great for walking and the weather was great. Did a bit of shopping in some specialty shops which is always good.

Great location with easy to access secure parking. We will definitely return. Don’t forget to walk to the hill near Newcastle Ocean Bath to see the sunrise! You might see dolphins as well.

The apartment looked great online, but was better in reality. Fabulous location, with 180 degree views from both living and lounge room. Apartment was beautifully furnished and clean. Everything worked. Jasmine was always responsive and warm. Will definitely stay there again.

We (2 adults & 3 teens) had a great stay. The house was really comfortable - plenty of space for everybody. The view and beach were stunning. The two SUPs got daily use.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary at Chris’ place with our children & grandchildren. Whispering Sands is idyllically located with superb views from every vantage point to the sun, sand & water. The house itself allowed for all of us & it really did offer so many extras with a pool table, paddle boards & beach towels included. We were able to walk to various coffee shops & enjoy the suburb of Corlette. Andrea met us at the house & was extremely welcoming & gave us a guided tour around the house ensuring that we felt at home. Thank you Chris for providing a spectacular house on AirB&B. This place was amazing. So clean and such a great location. I can’t fault the host she was so accommodating of my whole family including my small cavoodle who she made feel so at home. I would definately recommend this host and place and would stay there again if available.

One of the most beautiful place we've ever been to. Facing absolute nature, front beach house, it's genuinely breathtaking. One of my favourite moments was going on a walk around the property in the morning with Sunrise and Sunset. The service was impeccable—truly, I’ve never felt so pampered. This place provides the perfect blend of luxury, nature, privacy and just the right amount of gorgeous natural light and nice cleaning areas . Love your kitchen and my niece loved your bathtub. Just need to bring foaming bath with you. Pretty little gardens. Recommended this place hopefully we will go back next time.

We had a wonderful time , it was very peaceful and relaxing. The position of the place was incredible, the ocean at our doorstep and our own private rock jetty with lots of fish to catch and we even were greeted at the jetty by a turtle. This gate at the top was a little tight, especially for a 4x4 we just squeezed through, perhaps making the gate a little wider would be easier for some. This is a place I will most definitely return too. Thank you Prue who was a great host.

Lyn's place was lovely, it was in a great location with the ferry close to travel to Newcastle. The house was very tidy with great amenities, kitchen, BBQ & beds. Lyn offered us local information & was very accommodating with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in this area.

The home was fantastic and was perfect for 3 couples to enjoy our weekend getaway. Mary Ann was a super host, very organised and easy to communicate with. The living area was large enough for some to watch TV while others sat at the table to chat. The outdoor area was perfect to view the sunset, or if too cold, to view from the comfort and warmth of the living room. The bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds & good quality linen. The main bathroom was enormous, with a decent size spa. All good quality cleaning products and equipment made the check out clean up quick and easy. An easy walk around the bay to the Deck for yummy take-a-way easy dinner and a Sunday brunch, made for the perfect get-a-way.
