Holiday rentals with a patio in Shillong

Had a great stay (we had booked the entire apartment for 4 nights) at Gurmeet's place. Very central location, at the same time very quiet and good neighbourhood. View form the property (as shown in the pics) was amazing. Very good cafes and restos within walking distance from the property. Visitors must try Dylan's cafe - 900 mtrs. Caretaker Shalby was very helpful, always available (at all times) and very polite. Gurmeet was a very nice, polite and responsive host. Highly recommended stay.

Very well maintained peaceful place, just looks like given photographs. Host was very cooperative and responsive. Only drawback is that it is far from the centre of the city. Rest is very good.

Honestly it was my first time in Shillong and I have nothing but praises for the place and the culture. Kenneth looks after you like how you would be treated as a guest in heaven. He's kind, the place is wholesome and he looks after every need with great detail and care. One of the best hosts I've come across. Roma ji is an excellent host! She has a great knack of knowing when to engage with guests, and when to leave them on their own. She ensured my comfort, helped me with many local recommendations (Especially tailored to my biking trip), and allowed me lot of flexibility around breakfast timing (Given that on most days I left early in the morning for my bike trips). Meghalaya haa so much to offer, and one trip is not enough to cover it all! And whenever I visit Meghalaya, I will ensure I stay at Hillcrest! PS: Great view of Shilong (Morning & Night) right from your room! dont miss it!

Our stay at Kenneth’s Airbnb was an exceptional experience, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Location The property is situated in a prime spot, surrounded by popular locations like Laitumkrah, Police Bazar, and Bara Bazar—all within a convenient 10-15 minute walking distance. Host Kenneth was an outstanding host, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. He was always accessible via call or text, to assist us with any request. From arranging a bike and driver to recommending local food spots and must-visit viewpoints, he helped us with all. Amenities The room was equipped with a heater, kettle and gyser. The garden area was a delightful addition. The shared kitchen had necessary utensils and an always-running water filter. Extras One of the highlights of our visit was spending time with Pyter, Kenneth’s playful and well-cared-for puppy. Overall The experience felt less like a rental and more like staying at a friend’s place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting.

Veera is a great host and a lovely soul… my flight got delayed, i fell sick and in all this testing circumstances she was very helpful and responsive. She is a very caring and ensures that you have a comfortable stay. The stay is surrounded by beautiful forest and very near to NH6 where the famous Dylan’s cafe and Laitkumhrah market area is there. Time flies past so soon at her stay so better stay long.

The best place to stay in Shillong. Felt right at home, COZY is the word i would describe it as. Rachel was descriptive about the place, informed us early about everything, including the exact location. Naki, the caretaker of the place was very sweet and responsive. Gonna stay here in my future visits too. Loved it.

Hands down the best Airbnb stay I've experienced! Roma Ji and Yash Ji made us feel right at home right from the moment we checked in. 1. Cleanliness - The place was squeaky clean and extremely meticulously done. The room, the lounge, the kitchenette, the front and backyards, and the lawn - each corner was pristine! 2. Hospitality - Roma Ji's place sits at the sweet spot between a hotel's amenities and an Airbnb's homeliness. The hosts were very warm throughout, very responsive, polite and clearly communicated anything and everything. They also served scrumptious breakfast each morning at the time we preferred! 3. Experience - I knew this is a guest house and I'll have to share the place with more guests. But the experience was better than I had imagined. We met some very amazing people who had been staying at the guest house for the same period and socializing with them was great fun! The next time I or anyone from my family is visiting Shillong, I won't be looking elsewhere!

Emica, our host was absolutely wonderful - she went above and beyond to take care of all our requests, from the smallest details to the special arrangements we needed. The property was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, offering the perfect combination of comfort and rustic charm. We truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back for another getaway. Highly recommended :)
