Monthly Rentals in Shamokin Dam

We really enjoyed staying at Billi’s place! The space was as expected and comfortable. The grill was cleaned and prepped, ready to be used. The yard area was pretty large, well maintained, and had plenty of seating. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. And Billi was friendly and super responsive. Thanks for a great trip Billi!

We greatly enjoyed staying in this house. It is eminently comfortable. The living room is well laid out to lounge on the sofas reading a book or watching TV. The bedrooms have extra blankets and pillows. Bathroom has an extra rack for hanging up used towels. Closets are clean with space for hanging clothing and open shelving for laying out folded clothes. That was especially good for my husband who has some memory problems, making it hard for him to find things in closed drawers. Loved the stenciled labels to help us find things in the kitchen cabinets. Kitchen was wonderfully supplied with snacks and breakfast items. We especially appreciated the eggs and milk. There is a reasonable amount of cookware and dishes, though we did not do any cooking beyond breakfast. Note there is no dishwasher, but a nice double sink for washing dishes. The home is well suited for children, with a large fenced back yard with a swing set. Entry was easy and hosts communicated well.

This is a beautiful, quiet, private place to stay along the beautiful Susquehanna River. It's just a short walk (about a mile) to town where there are nice restaurants and cafes. Susquehanna University is about 1.5 miles away. Rob's place has all the necessary amenities, is quiet and well equipped. Highly recommend!
