Cute apartment in renovated old stone house. Remote location. Clean and quiet.

Jose gave us all the facilities for the entrance and especially for the exit, since we were participating in a race and I let us shower when we finished although we had to have left the apartment already. Encantados!

We stayed for 6 nights and throughly enjoyed the accommodations and recommendations provided by Vasco and Jose- amazing hospitality! The wine tasting right after check in was fantastic- excellent value and great family wine- would have purchased if we were checking bags back to US. Little touches in the room such as a chess board fully stocked kitchen tools really made the difference in our stay as we explored the D’Ouro Valley. The bells from the church were quite loud but after a few days got used to it. 100% recommend.

The Casa da Videira is the middle of three cottages grouped around a pool. It has a large covered veranda with beautiful views over the very beautiful surroundings, and further a spacious living room with two almost identical bedrooms. All is finished to a high standard. The host and hostesses were very attentive, so a nice cake was brought after a few days. Nearby are restaurants that, by appointment, serve excellent river fish.
