We loved our stay at Shyamal’s home! The house has lots of charm and character. The space is roomier than pictures show. The proximity to the beach is wonderful and the beach itself is great too. The deck, yard and spa were wonderful, peaceful, and private. It does feel like an older home, but in all the best ways. Would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

Tranquility Base…surely lived up to its name. So comfortable, so charming we felt like a part of the forest. The whole place had so much personality we felt right at home Magical and enchanting getaway Highly recommended We’ll be back

Wonderful house and host! We traveled to Monterey with our three children and my mother in law. House was comfortable for all of us. The backyard was such a lovely space. Hot tub was awesome. Location was close to downtown Monterey, warf, aquarium while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood. Also a short trip to Carmel. Host was very responsive. We would stay here again!

Walking up in the front porch, I knew my experience was going to be cozy and comforting. The cottage was above and beyond my expectations for comfort. The home was lived in, no pretentious, filled with surprises along the way, private nooks. By far my favorite was to take a hot shower after a soak in the hot tub outside in the rain. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked with essential spices. The coffee bar was stocked up. Super good internet if you are staying a while and working. Beds and linens, all super nice. However, the kudos here MUST go to the cleaning service. Try as we might to find a cobweb but we could not. Spotless! Thank you for such an awesome place and space. I will be back!

The guest house was warm, inviting, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook small meals. The location was perfect- it was in a beautiful area close to beaches and shops. Pamela, the host, was also so lovely and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was very homey and comfortable. Everything was neatly maintained and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The hot tub was very clean and hot. Mattresses are firm and heater does not reach bedrooms just an FYI. Erin gave clear instructions and has great response time. Very happy to have stayed here.

Best beach vibe! The location is amazing, great walkable neighborhood, lots to do. The house was fantastic, with so many thoughtful details. Joyce is a pro. She was super responsive and gave us great recommendations that made the stay perfect. My young kids (Age 9 and 6) loved the place - especially the downstairs living room and hot tub. Will stay here again!

A beautiful stay in La Selva! I love this area, it's peaceful & quiet. The guesthouse was clean, lovely & spacious. Everything was great & true to description. 10 min walking distance from the beach was amazing! It was my first time booking a guesthouse and it did not disappoint. Angela was a really thoughtful and friendly host! Would love to stay here again next time I visit the bay!

We had an amazing time at Tangled Oaks – this was just what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. The property was clean and spacious. had everything we needed, and Nancy and Alex were always quick to respond when we had a question for them. Thank you Nancy & Alex, we can't wait to come again!

Such a lovely place, the host was very friendly and responsive and check in was a breeze. The ranch is gorgeous and the animals are all so friendly, we made lots of animal friends! Would definitely recommend.

Jane was very nice and responsive when I needed to change my travel dates due to a unique circumstance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning.

This house was such a cozy and comfortable place to spend a few days with family in Carmel. It was so well organized and very clean. Great kitchen to cook in. The neighborhood was great and a lovely walk into town. The outdoor space was very nice to have in between the rain. We would definitely return.

Jeremy’s place was great for a weekend getaway with a few friends! The location was great, plenty of parking and space to spread out inside the house and in the backyard. The koi pond was lovely and relaxing, I felt like I was at a spa! Jeremy was very responsive and answered our questions ahead of time. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, with oil and spices available. We walked to Verve coffee multiple times and it was easy to get to Capitola and Santa Cruz. It was a comfortable spot and a lovely stay!

Tom’s cabin was private, charming, and peaceful. The location can’t be beaten! Thank you for hosting us, Tom. We loved all of the plants!

Lisa’s home Was Everything and more. Super clean and comfortable. We (5) stayed (3) nights over Christmas and the home was comfortable and very clean. Beds were great with plenty of extra blankets. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for cooking any meal. The beach is just steps away from the, and the views of the beach and surf from the house are amazing! There was hardly a soul on the beach while we were there and we walked for miles enjoying the birds, seals and seashore. We even got front row seats from the home of some great surfers who were being towed-out the amazing waves! This is a special place and we hope to return here. This development is gated and has a very remote feel, yet you’re only 20 mins to Monterey and Carmel.

We had a great stay at Lolly's place. The kids loved playing and exploring the private meadow and surrounding outdoors while we BBQ'd on the spacious dock. I went on a hike on the nearby trail with amazing views of the mountains. The house, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all very clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend Lolly's place!

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

What a great find in an out of the way place. Would love to come in summer but honestly, it was great cool weather to enjoy the house and view of the ocean. Saw seals and dolphins and birds, barely any humans! Best find was Pezzini Farms right outside the colony. Go there for good food!

Gorgeous apartment, like staying in a 5* spa hotel, only better! This was our little relaxing treat at the end of our California road trip and it was beyond our expectations. Very comfortable, beautifully styled and appointed apartment with a wonderful view of the Ocean from the roof terrace - perfect place to watch sunset with a glass of wine and to watch sunrise with our morning cuppa (we did both of course!) and with a lap pool and hot tub for our private use. Host always on hand to help if needed. Lovely hospitality basket provided. Highly recommended

EJ and Nancy have such a lovely property. We easily felt we had our own space. You can tell that they've been doing this for years, and have a great way of making everything comfortable for guests. Our two kids had space to spread out, the playground is not directly next to the front door of the apartment, but you can see it through the yard's trees & hear them more or less within ear shot. Kitchen was amply supplied and set up, & there are plenty of storage spaces and creature comforts to make the stay feel like home. Beds were comfortable & clean, super comfortable pillows. The unit itself doesn't get a ton of natural light, but to be expected in redwoods. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, we had a nice time chatting with them. Wonderful hosts, they felt like family. Their little dog is so so sweet and friendly as well, my kids loved the dog. Great location, easy to get to surrounding areas and Santa Cruz proper. Would return!

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).
