Lovely little stay. The place was nicely decorated and clean, and it was a huge bonus having a private garden which was great for our dog. Polina was very responsive and flexible, which made for a really welcoming and lovely stay. The only downside was the proximity to the road, it’s not too loud when you’re inside, but there’s no pavements so if you want to walk into the village or to the footpath, you have walk on the road and there are some blind bends. Fortunately it’s wasn’t too busy when we stayed! I would definitely book again, a great place to escape in the countryside.

We had a wonderful stay at Crossing Retreat! The location was beautifully peaceful and private, making it the perfect escape. The instructions for finding the property were clear and very helpful. The only small issue we encountered was with the hot water on our first night, but Andy & Michelle were fantastic—quick to respond, great at communicating, and resolved it swiftly. Their hospitality really stood out! A special mention to the daily cat visits—we’re cat people, so we didn’t mind at all! They were very friendly and just added to the charm of the place. We were lucky to have great weather and loved using the outdoor BBQ in the evenings—it was a great touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely return!

We had a beautiful stay at Nicola’s place, it was warm and comfortable with incredible skies at night. What an amazing host, so attentive and friendly, we felt very at home but also had the space as our own private hideaway. Thank you for having us. Highly recommended stay! And came with the best brownies!!

Great host, everything as described. A lovely setting & accommodation with free roaming chickens & beautiful surroundings. Great access to where we wanted to go for a weekend away. Highly recommend & would visit again
