The perfect place for us as a couple with a dog, the cottage is cosy and very nicely decorated. The views from the garden are splendid. The town of Falkland itself is like something from a fairy tale, beautiful architecture nestled in the foot of East Lomand. There isn’t a lot in the town, but there’s enough (a shop, bakery and pub/restaurant as well as a few tea rooms). The only thing that could possibly make it better is if there were a few blankets available, it was chilly when we were there and I felt bad putting the heating on all of the time. This is very minor though. People with dogs; be aware that the garden isn’t secure and there are sheep in the field that backs onto the house and garden. Makes for beautiful scenes on a morning but some dogs may not do well with this. Thanks so much Annie for having us. The people of Falkland were so welcoming and we would love to come back!

The cottage is warm and welcoming with everything you need and more. Very relaxing. The views are more than what we took from the pics. After a good days exploring the cottage is a home from home with hot showers and very comfortable beds. We had a great couple of days with our boys who enjoyed the cottage settings. We found the soccer ball !! Thank you for hosting us. Would recommend highly and hopefully will return again on our next trip to the UK.

We have had an amazing holiday staying at Alison's airbnb. The home is beautiful and cosy, love the decor and everything was so easy to work. Alison made us so welcome on our first night and is an amazing host. We loved the area and walking along the promenade and will definitely be back, thanks Alison for making our stay here so special, Jackie and Andy

What an amazing little place! Dawn is extremely informative about the local area, gave us very handy tips about Scotland! She is very friendly and a great host. The cottage itself was extremely cosy, thank you for your hospitality, I will absolutely be back in the future ✨
