We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the sand with incredible ocean views and stunning surroundings. Super comfortable beds and a great outdoor space made it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and check-in was a breeze. We have just completed a week's stay in St Helens. Our accommodation was spotless and had everything that you needed and more. Breakfast provisions were supplied and there were thoughtful extras in each space. The accommodation is on a lot with a second house in front, close to each other. As peaceful and beautiful as it was, any noise echoed across the valley like dogs barking from the house in front and behind. This is not the owners fault at all but something to note. That said, we would not hesitate to stay again and really enjoyed our stay.

Wow. Shane's place exceeded our expectations. What a great place to relax and explore Bicheno and Freycinet. A morning walk along the nearby beach and friendly neighbours (the sheep) added to this wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in this area.

A wonderful place and a great area. Close to beach/park and 20 minute walk to shops. Great outdoor area with fire pit and bbq indoor area was big and comfy for a large group. Missed a dryer or outside clothesline but mainly cause we had 6 adults, a toddler and 8 month old twins 😂

A fantastic location. Beautifully appointed and perfect for a catch up with old friends. The top lounge affords amazing coast view and comfy couch to curl up with an cuppa, the bottom lounge cosy with the wood stove and any number of lovely outdoor places to sit and enjoy the great garden which is perfect for a dog. Kitchen has all we needed and the wood fired pizza oven was fun for home made pizzas. This truly is a stand out place to stay. Immaculately clean and Jan was responsive and provided great support for our check in and stay. Thank you!

Our group of 5 ladies had a brilliant stay, each having their own bedroom and ensuite. The layout was perfect and very quiet, we couldn’t even hear showers running. The stairs were easy to navigate and the dining room, kitchen and lounge was spacious and well appointed. The linen was a good standard and pristine and even beach towels were provided. Everything was exceptionally clean, even the plug holes! Lovely rear courtyard with bbq available and all the heating options were well stacked with wood and ready to go in a moment if needed. Great lighting and all windows worked and were covered with fly screens. Very clear communications and I felt the host took their duty of care very seriously, ensuring we were safely checked in also. We were all very impressed and look forward to being able to stay again.
