Cabin holiday rentals in Sawyer County

We stayed at Ben's house for a week and had a great time. The house is as decribed in the listing and is in a great location. There was plenty of room for 8 of us and the basement setup was fantastic to keep the kids entertained when they weren't playing outside. The hot tub was also really nice at the end of the day. The only complaints I have about our stay was upon arrival, we discovered two beds in two of the bedrooms were covered in dog hair. We understand it was a pet friendly home, which is fine with us as we have dogs ourselves. We just don't let them sleep in our beds at home and didn't expect to have to wash bedding on our first night there. The other issue was we had asked Ben on our second to last day if we could host some friends for dinner. He said he could not allow it due to code enforcement occupancy "even though they wouldn't be staying the night" and basically a nosy neighbor. I still rate Ben's house 5 stars as well as his response time and would stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully remodeled cabin on Lake Winter, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin features an abundance of windows, creating a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. At night, the lights streaming through the trees added a magical touch to the atmosphere. One of the standout features was the heated floors in the bathroom, which were a delightful surprise! Eric, the host, was incredibly responsive and communicated quickly. He provided excellent recommendations for local dining and amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend planning a visit to this stunning cabin. It’s the perfect getaway!

Lisa was great to work with very accommodating and helpful with current local events. Great location for trail riding and taking in the beautiful fall colors!

J’s cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a Birkie ski weekend in the North Woods. The hot tub was great after a long ski. All the kids toys/movies was also a really nice touch that our daughter enjoyed. We would definitely return. J is a very responsive host.

Beautiful place in a secluded area on Moose Lake. We were there in winter and it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice newer-built lake cabin. All the basic necessities, including internet. Small, simple kitchen (no dishwasher). No laundry. Internet. TV. Nice wood-burning fireplace! Comfortable for one or two couples and two small kids with its three sleeping areas. Would rent again.

The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake!! It is furnished so warm and nicely it felt very homey. Diane has the cabin set up with everything we wanted to be able to relax or cook our own meals at the cabin. The location is perfect with only a few minutes drive to either Hayward or Cable. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back!!

The cabin is quaint and peaceful. The river views are amazing. There is a cute bar/restaurant with great food and drinks. The owners are nice and very helpful. Definitely won’t be disappointed staying at the resort.

Cozy dog-friendly cabin with beautiful views of the lake. We came here in the winter for the Birkie and it's only an 18 min drive to Hayward, so it's a great location. We didn't use the game rooms but saw that it was definitely a highlight of the cabin. The sofas are comfortable, and the memory foam mattresses were a huge bonus.

🍁 The cabin was a perfect choice for us to stay. We had everything we needed in the cabin. All we had to bring with us with our bare minimums and personal items. The scenery was beautiful, and the weather ended up being perfect. We definitely can’t wait to come back again for a vacation! ❤️

We had a very peaceful stay, which is just what we wanted. It’s beautiful there @ Teal lake. Victoria was very, very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely go again.

Clare and Chris have simply raised the bar of what we will expect from future AirBnb rentals. Clean, organized,welcoming, responsive, ideal rental owners. They let us in early, and had no issues with us staying late so we could minimize make memories during some rare warmth of late October. The sunrises on Sand Lake are spectacular, the bike trails nearby were great, but most of all the ease of walking into an immaculate home made us feel at home from the start. We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at Kristn's air b@b cabin from Saturday night into Monday morning. It was located on Lower Clam lake. Our family consists of seven people and this cabin was very spacious. It had enough bedrooms for us and even had a downstairs rec room. The cabin gave us access to ice fish Lower Clam lake and all of the surrounding lakes. While driving up we noticed all of the elk crossing signs. Unfortunately we did not see any. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The setting of it in the woods was perfect and we were isolated from everyone, which is what we were looking for. The cabin had wi-fi and a cozy woodstove. They even let us bring our two dogs. It was very affordable and Kristyn got back to us instantly as we booked last minute. Although the weather was frigid, the fishing was great. We will definitely be looking forward to trying to book for a summer stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Back O Beyond. The cabin was much bigger than we anticipated and very clean. The lake was beautiful, quiet and we had a nice sandy shoreline right in front of our cabin. I really enjoyed kayaking around the islands without worrying about water skiers and jet skis running me over. The fishing was awesome, I caught a 46 inch musky! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

We loved staying at Alana’s spot in Hayward for a weekend skiing the Birkie! The beds were comfy, the view was beautiful and we especially loved the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again!

Alexa’s cabin was awesome! Couldn’t ask for a better location as a fisherman who was trying to fish multiple bodies of water. The place has everything you need for an extended stay and the cabin itself was very nice. Alexa was amazing to communicate with, always got back to us promptly with answers.

Thank you, Dan, for a wonderful stay at the cabin! We appreciate the beautiful surroundings and the cabin was absolutely as described. Nelson Lake is great for boating and we explored Hayward as well, including Tamarack Winery, shops downtown and thrifting. Many thanks to your responsiveness to messages before and during our stay, Dan-you truly made us feel at home. There’s not a single thing we would change…except maybe to have stayed longer! We will definitely be back again!

Great views will be renting again next year!
