Excellent stay at Anne's, great location and very well equipped place with great facilities and great to use as a base to explore the surrounding area, the free golf was also a bonus ! we would return

We had a great time staying in Roberts annex. It was peaceful and private, with lovely views of the garden and local wildlife. Robert was very helpful. He gathered some wood for us to have a little campfire, and baked us some bread, which was a lovely touch. The annex was spotless and had all necessary amenities. There are shops within 5-10 minute drive, a must-see deer park with hundreds of deer, and you can be at the beach within 3 minutes walk. There is also a golf course right next door, it's a challenge for the beginner golfer, but had some amazing views.

Kippford Stables is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage. It has its own private parking and its elevated position offers beautiful views over the estuary and rolling hills in the background. Kippford village is a great base to visit local towns, Dalbeattie, New Abbey, Castle Douglas and Dumfries are an easy drive away. A bit further is the town of Kirkcudbright and is well worth a visit.

A beautiful, sweet cottage in lovely surroundings. Very comfortable, well kitted out and a handy garden if you have a four legged friend with you! Hayley was very responsive and helpful when we had an issue and got it resolved as quickly as she could, and people in the local area are very friendly. If you have a dog with you, i would recommend the farmshop/cafe just a few minutes down the road (Loch Arthur) where you can sit outdoors with your pup, and also The Anchor pub in Kippford, with a nice walk along the water.
