Beachfront holiday rental in Sandy Bay

We stayed a couple of nights in this beautiful house. It was so quiet having come from the city, and the tranquil waterfront property was just what we needed. Rohan let us know everything before we got there and it was just as advertised. Very relaxing and we'll come again.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We booked this accommodation as a family, as my brother was getting married in Peppermint Bay. Lindsey was very proactive and an excellent communicator - the house was easy to find, access and enjoy. All the amenities required were provided, the view and garden were lovely. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here, and hope to arrange another booking when we are in Tasmania again.

I booked Eve's place as the location looked great and was close to our family in Hobart. Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to illness, but my Parents still went for 4 days. The loved the location and how clean and peaceful the accommodation was. The outside areas were fantastic and the newly installed kitchen was beautiful. Eve left great instructions for local places to eat and drink, as well as local attractions to visit and see. Overall my parents loved Eve's home and wouldnt hesitate to stay again. Hopefully next time I will be able to join them.

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

Just spent a thoroughly enjoyable 14 nights at Amy’s place - 2 couples & a dog on a Tassie Roadtrip. The house was just fantastic - clean and well presented - had everything you needed, generously stocked and complete with all the essentials. Comfy beds, beautiful linen sheets, excellent modern bathroom, well kitted out kitchen, comfy lounges & outdoor furniture - we spent many nights and afternoons just relaxing on the deck and enjoying the beautiful water views of Coningham and believe me the view is ‘to die for’ as the saying goes and a bonus to have a beautiful swimming beach literally across the road - which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our friends were taken with Tassie’s beauty and tranquility too. The outside area is well fenced and our dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay as well. Would thoroughly recommend Amy’s place, you won’t be disappointed. Thankyou Amy for providing such great accommodation, a credit to you. Will not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family. I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb during the Easter holidays while visiting Hobart. The house is beautifully maintained and perfectly situated right in front of a serene lake connected to the Pacific Ocean, with a vast forest reserve just beyond. Waking up to peaceful mornings surrounded by nature was heavenly. We enjoyed spotting wallabies and rabbits nearby, adding to the authentic Tasmanian wildlife experience. The host was thoughtful, providing kitchen essentials that made our stay comfortable and convenient. This place offers a perfect escape into nature with stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to relax in the lap of nature near Hobart.

Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

Very cozy beach house right by the sea. The area is quiet and wonderful for relaxing. You have the beautiful beach almost to yourself. A piece of paradise. Kristen is a great hostess and shared all the information we needed. The house has everything you need. Would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely spot, the house was cosy and well equipped with comfy beds. Debbie went above and beyond when we had a flat battery in our car. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Opossum Bay. The place was beautifully presented with high-quality amenities throughout—nothing cheap or nasty here! Everything felt thoughtfully chosen and well cared for. We made good use of the BBQ and pizza oven, and loved going for walks to the nearby rec park. The whole experience was relaxing and memorable. Would absolutely recommend!

House was amazing couldn’t fault in any way. Clean, comfortable and perfect. Views and location of house was absolutely fabulous. Host always replied to any messages very quickly and we super helpful with some sight seeing recommendations when we asked. 10/10 stay, thank you 🙏🏼

The most relaxing down time. Dream location , beach is so private only the local neighbours utilise it. even though the weather wasn't amazing we had a great time captivated by the ever changing view that is so close you can you literally touch it . The property set up makes it so easy to just walk in and feel right at home . This was our fourth stay since selling our own holiday home and is the perfect Airbnb for us each year.

This place was such an amazing place to stay couldn’t recommend it anymore to anyone wanting to stay around Hobart or Penna area. The photos don’t do justice to how peaceful, remote and beautiful this place is. The deck has a wonderful view looking out onto Penna’s beach and it’s only a short walk down to the beach. Steve was such a great host as-well always responsive and left little touches around the house to make you feel really welcome. A really great place for a family to get away and just relax in a beautiful surrounding.

We were absolutely blown away with the property, it was better than we hoped for and it was really well equipped. Beautiful location right on Cremorne beach, this is a stunning property and communication was so easy, thank you Emma for being so accommodating during our stay.

This was an absolutely superb stay. We would definitely come back and cannot fault it. The location is stunning, the home is beautiful and Karen is very responsive. Beyond amazing. Beautiful location and siting of the building. Wonderful framed views. Beautiful sunlight. Lots of seating. Comfortable beds. We saw an echidna, pademelon and quoll on the property. We took lovely walks and watched the changing weather from the windows. Our stay was an unforgettable experience.

Probably one of the best places we have stayed so far..both my kids loved the place.. we had a wonderful time playing games in the house.. the hot bath tub was very relaxing after 4 days of hecitic travelling...loved the view from kitchen...overall worth every dollar spent..

Ben’s place in Deep Bay is wonderful, the location is truly stunning. We stayed there for three nights for a family reunion and loved it. Some of the elder family members did have a few issues, such as Ben lives on site and came into his office at 10:30pm, shining a light into the bedroom. There are a few little quirks such as no coffee, sugar, or oil, and an oven that doesn’t fit a lot of the dishes available, but it was still a wonderful stay.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

I can't thank Paquita enough for allowing us to host our very intimate wedding at The Pearl. It is an incredible, special, beautiful place. The Pearl is somehow even more beautiful in person, and the pristine beach at our doorstep was a ln incredible bonus. Hosting our immediate family for dinner on the back verandah as the sun was setting, listening to the ocean and watching the sun set over the water, is now one of my most treaured memories. We are already talking about staying again. Paquita went above and beyond as a host - providing recommendations for local florists, celebrants, hair stylists etc - and even left us a beautiful congratulations card and gift. A fantastic location right on the beach. The interiors are tastefully decorated with a well-designed layout, plenty of areas to chill out, and ample storage space for a longer term stay. We also enjoyed the selection of books and magazines. There’s a fabulous jacuzzi bathtub in the master bathroom, and it was so relaxing to go for walks on the beach and fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of waves. It’s well worth stopping at a larger supermarket before you get there to stock up with any food or other supplies you might need, so you can maximise your peaceful and relaxing stay.
