A very nice place, the decoration every detail is seen that they put love to the things that are in the apartment. I will surely go back there. My clean and the people who attend very kind and kind, if you are looking for a place to spend quiet and comfortable is surely the Better place.

I love Samia‘s place! I do business in Otavalo so have stayed there before. I have also put up some of my partners, as well. They ended up staying a few extra days because they loved it so much. It’s so peaceful. I will likely stay there every time I’m in the area. The kitchen is fully stocked, and spacious. It’s a great space! Highly recommend. Things to note: - the bathroom is just outside of the main house, water is a bit chilly - the house is quite cold. You’ll need to use the fireplace and bring warm clothes. (They have added one space heater but only one). - if you rent a car, I’d recommend a 4x4. You can get around using a sedan, many people do, but there are some dirt roads and stone paths that can be potentially slippery. - The house is about a 10-15 min drive from the center of Otavalo.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

It is a cozy place very recommended to get out of the routine and explore the beautiful natural places near otavalo... recommended!
