What a dream, waking up next to the most important archeological location in Zapotec culture right outside your windows, and in such a luxurious space. This wonderful location is perfect for sharing with friends. There’s private parking, 3 bedrooms with 1 really comfortable king and two full/double beds in the back with views of the mountains and city. The rooftop is set up for barbecuing and playing games or enjoying the once in a lifetime view. This place is also close to the Jaguar sanctuary and Heirve de Agua, hundreds of mezcal ranches, and the warm and vibrant little village of Mitla. Wonderfully responsive host, and cool art throughout. Would love to come back. Do bring towels because they only provide one big one per room.

Chamin’s place is a hidden jewel in Oaxaca. Location is perfect with easy access to explore Teotitlán, Tlacolula, Mitla, el Tule, and yet just 30 minutes from downtown Oaxaca. The house has a very inviting porch with a hammock to spend the afternoons. The place was impeccably clean and the area is safe. There’s a delicious Italian restaurant a few meters away. Plus Chamin is the perfect host, felt like leaving a friend behind. Gracias por todo!

Edwin is a great host. Responsive and helpful. I definitively recommend his place if you are in Tlacolula and want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the city but in a private and quiet setting.
