Wonderfully central location in a special city. The neighborhood is as authentic as it gets. Easy walk to sights, services and conveniences. Great staging area for day trips to surrounding villages and towns as well as Mt Etnea. Other positive reviews are accurate and informative and there’s no need to restate them. Yes, water pressure is a bit weak in the shower, but on the other hand, it’s hot and maintains a nice even temperature, which is often a problem in Airbnbs around the world. As someone who likes to shop local markets and cook my own meals, the kitchen is most adequate and the central street market is absolutely fantastic. The price for a month was a good value and the unit is perfect for a single traveler or couples and longterm stays.

Katia is a very hospitable and responsive host. She offered us transfer from the airport to the appartment. That was very kind of her because it was our first time in Catania and we didn't know the city. The appartment is good. All the listed facilities are there, all works well. Also Katia provided us with valuable information about places to visit in Catania. Thank you Katia! We loved Catania!

A very nice and cozy place for our final week in Sicily before we departed at the airport which is just less than 10 minutes away. Hosts are very helpful, responsive, and kindly provided us with additional kitchen appliance for our Christmas use. The neighbourhood has a good bakery, fruit and vegetable, groceries and supermarkets you can get all fresh produce to cook good meals. The only inconvenience we had was with the irregular bus service to city centre. We found the bus service didn't follow the timetable but that was the problem of Municipality of Catania. Apart from getting around, our stay in this house during the Christmas was perfect.

Everything went very well. We were met by a wonderful friendly hostess who does not speak English, but explained everything very clearly and helped us with check-in. The place is very cool, the house is many years old, but it is in beautiful condition. Great terrace which was very important to us. There is also a parking space in the yard. The central part of the city is 25 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by transport.
