A lovely apartment for single or couple, great location in the old town and an easy stroll into the main square. Beautiful panoramic view from the Juliet balcony and extremely clean throughout.

The Brigands’ Refuge is an intriguing, quirky and comfortable place to stay. Spotlessly clean and well-appointed, quiet and in easy reach of San Donato’s facilities. These include some very good restaurants and several bar/cafes, ideal for that morning cappuccino and pastry. There is also a sufficiency of local shops for most needs. The village and its location are both gorgeous. An ideal base for exploring the Abruzzo National Park. Our host, Alessio, was charming, considerate and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
