Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Sámara

Great spot to stay in Samara, brand new and very well set up for to make your stay comfortable. Would recommend staying here, will stay here again when we come back.

We ran into an issue with one of the bathrooms and Miles was very responsive, he is a great host and the place is quiet and nice, just to consider though, one of the bedrooms doesn’t have air conditioning

Very nice apartment and close to walk to the beach.

Very nice apartment within a family compound. My apartment was on the second floor with a front porch so it would have a breeze. The apartment was large, well equipped, private and quiet. Would stay again.

Very clean and well-equipped accommodation a quiet and peaceful place set in the middle of the jungle with a magnificent view of the ocean. host available and rectifying we loved our stay the only regret is not having spent more time there. small bonus: an infinity pool.

The house was close enough that you could walk to a local mercado and soda if you wanted. Location was quiet most of the time. Nothing more than local neighborhood noise and howler monkeys. :) Maria was quick to answer when I had questions about the internet and water pressure. Both times there was work being done locally that effected small delays in both. Locked myself out of the house about 1 week in to my stay. Luckily, one of the neighbors had Marias # as my car keys, phone, etc were all locked in the house. The neighbor called Maria and someone showed up within a reasonable amount of time to let me in! It was a great home base for the time that I was there.

What an absolutely wonderful stay we had at Casa Maiana. Thierry is a generous host and responded immediately to any questions we had. We liked to prepare many of our own meals during our stay, and we loved cooking in our little kitchen! It was well equipped and laid out nicely. We also enjoyed using the grill outside one night. Everything in Samara is within walking distance from Casa Maiana and there are many markets to choose from. The beach is also only a short walk away and there are palm trees there for shade. It was always enjoyable to return to Casa Maiana from the beach. The grounds are well maintained - we loved the jungle-like atmosphere of the flora and fauna, the hammocks, exotic stone statues, oh and there’s big lemon tree. It was just sweet to have our front door open and look outside while we sat in the kitchen. What a pleasant stay we had, and we made fond memories to last a lifetime. Wonderful beautiful place. Super super clean. Excellent amenities. Dayana and Mauricio were very friendly and helpful. And their dog Bila is a big sweetheart! Sat on our feet and leaned on us immediately. 5-10 min walk to San Juanilla beach. Nice swimming, fabulous sunsets and excellent food at Cocobolo. Also ate at another restaurant just down the road, also very good. A little noise from being on the main road but really not bad. Beware of the dogs next door. One of them bit a passerby, not sure what happened. We did not have any problems with them. Anyway, if you’re afraid of dogs, Costa Rica is not for you! They are everywhere.

Camilla was a great host and always responded quickly and efficiently. The location was perfect and though it was the high season, it felt perfect. The house is really efficient and well organised.

Nice house with spectacular views, especially from the master and upstairs bedrooms. Located inside the 506 Tennis Club which is convenient if you like to play tennis, and is less than a 5 min drive from the main town center around Guiones beach.

Beautiful property. Exactly what we needed for a winter getaway out of NYC. The outdoor space is what made the trip. The pictures of the garden and pool don’t do the property justice. We really enjoyed our stay and the privacy and seclusion that the property offered. The management company was very responsive and helped accommodate us on several occasions. They deserve an A+. We would love to come back to visit again.

Beautiful house with a pool. Clean with hot water! The house has everything you need and/or want. Troy was quick to respond to questions and made us feel at home. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Lili. The house and gardens are peaceful and cozy. The private pool was clutch with the kids and they swam for hours every day after the beach. We communicated mostly with Erick and he was very kind and quick to provide recommendations. He delivered a free pizza from his restaurant for us one night and it was delicious! Highly recommend Casa Lily and supporting a local family.

Fatou was a gracious and helpful host with a stunning property that really allowed us to soak in La Pura Vida– 3 minutes to get to the beach, wonderful outdoor cooking facilities, and even a deep and spacious pool to stay cool during the hottest part of the day! The layout was perfect for relaxing outdoor hangouts (we rented with a family friend who was in the bungalow next door) while affording just the right amount of privacy and calm. Thank you Fatou, we had a great time and hope to meet again! Pura Vida!

My family & I were initially a bit nervous because the area where Luigi's place is located had been impacted by heavy rainstorms & flooding. However, thanks to the host’s proactive communication & thoughtful heads-up, we were able to plan ahead & sort everything out with no issues. Their attention to detail and concern for our safety were incredibly reassuring. I can't say enough great things about our stay! Luigi was always super attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. He was incredibly flexible, accommodating our needs w/ a smile, & made us feel so welcome. The property itself was amazing—clean, spacious, & equipped w/ everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a perfect place for families! The kids loved it, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made the space feel like home. We had a great time & would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this host & property to anyone looking for a stress-free, family-friendly gateway!
