Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Sámara

Great spot to stay in Samara, brand new and very well set up for to make your stay comfortable. Would recommend staying here, will stay here again when we come back.

Very nice apartment within a family compound. My apartment was on the second floor with a front porch so it would have a breeze. The apartment was large, well equipped, private and quiet. Would stay again.

This is the second time we stayed with Jeff for a total of a month and I seriously can't say enough about how fabulous him and his cabina was! The beach is a short 8 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in CR.. Never crowded and so pristine. The Cabina is so well appointed and so comfortable and clean with zero bugs which is good for CR. The pool we practically lived in and it was so beautiful and peaceful. And Jeff was the best host we have ever stayed with! He was so helpful with local attractions and places to go. He hooked us up with the local fresh fish truck for the best tuna we've ever had. Jeff lives on the property as well and was so welcoming to us and yet he was super respectful of our privacy. We are booking our stay with him again next year. Thank you co much Jeff for being such a great host and becoming our new CR friend. See you next year!

Cato was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs..requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful.

Our stay was exceptional, Camille and Tit’ were able to guide us to get to the accommodation very quickly. When we arrived we discovered a breathtaking view of the Pacific ocean. Tastefully decorated apartment, very recent and impeccable cleanliness. Very well equipped that it is in terms of the kitchen and bathroom, it really feels like home. The apartment is located 10 minutes drive from Samara and restaurants. We were even lucky enough to have a tour of the monkeys very close to the terrace as well as the coatis. A truly magical time. Thank you a thousand times to Camille to Tit’ for the welcome we will come back for sure! Unbeatable address if you go through Samara/Carillo.

We stayed 7 nights. It was very comfortable and Thierry was a very helpful and considerate host. We would definitely return here when we come to Samara again.

Wonderful beautiful place. Super super clean. Excellent amenities. Dayana and Mauricio were very friendly and helpful. And their dog Bila is a big sweetheart! Sat on our feet and leaned on us immediately. 5-10 min walk to San Juanilla beach. Nice swimming, fabulous sunsets and excellent food at Cocobolo. Also ate at another restaurant just down the road, also very good. A little noise from being on the main road but really not bad. Beware of the dogs next door. One of them bit a passerby, not sure what happened. We did not have any problems with them. Anyway, if you’re afraid of dogs, Costa Rica is not for you! They are everywhere.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay in this unique home. Really enjoyed the space. Gerardo the caretaker was lovely and very helpful. Ate several times at his family restaurant! Is quite a quiet area so was helpful when Joseph helped us hire a car to explore the area.

Camilla was a great host and always responded quickly and efficiently. The location was perfect and though it was the high season, it felt perfect. The house is really efficient and well organised.

This was the most incredible Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. If you’ve come to Costa Rica to be outside and in nature, you cannot do better than this place. The outside area is INCREDIBLE. The view is absolutely stunning and the pool… the pool is an architectural gem. We had monkeys on most days, and lots of birds. On a quiet day you could hear the ocean, which you can see on the horizon. It was so peaceful and we loved retreating to our house after Samara or another excursion. I would love to come back and will never forget this place. Truly one of a kind. Don’t bother trying to come without an SUV, though. Thanks for this unforgettable experience.

This home exceed our expectations! It was absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Casa Bosque will forever be in our happy memories! My family had such an incredible stay here. The hosts, Forest and Andrea, were so attentive to our questions or needs. She even made us sourdough bread one morning! They were respectful of our space and felt genuinely glad we were enjoying ourselves. They took our families sunset pics the last night. It was great getting to know them! The home is picturesque and has everything you need to enjoy Playa Negra. The beautiful pool overlooked the ocean and tropical landscape. It was refreshing to lounge in during the heat of the day. The kitchen had every amenity we needed to fix coffee, breakfast, and lunch. We chose to try restaurants in the area for dinners each night. Howler monkeys delighted us a couple of days when we could see the family hopping through the trees. The beach out front was a dream to walk out to from your own private entrance. We will definitely be putting this home on our “go back to” list. We enjoyed every minute!!

Villa Palma was absolutely awesome. Has everything you need and so much more. Junquillal beach and surrounding area is spectacular. Lots of restaurants to eat at specifically Guacamaya Lodge right across the street, amazing food. And if you are looking to cook at home Cristina provides everything you need. 10/10 would absolutely stay at Villa Palma again.

We have spent two weeks at Casa Lili, felt at home, pool was amazing. Had adventures, visited beautiful beaches and restaurants. But it was always amazing to come back to Casa Lili. Thank you to our hosts, who were always available to answer our questions,will be looking to return.
