Monthly Rentals in Sabrosa

Our visit here was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. From the first moment when Jet greeted us with a drink to when we left, we had such a wonderful time. The gardens were more beautiful than expected and our room was so lovely. Our original plan was to travel around a bit while staying here but we decided we didn’t want to leave, other than to a local winery that Jet had booked for us prior to coming. We enjoyed the dinner/wine tasting with the hosts and other guests. Thank you so much and we hope to come back someday!

A beautifully designed converted village house with high quality furnishings and fittings, set in a very quiet location and with a beautiful garden. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. The location is excellent for the Douro Valley. It exceeded our expectations, and was a wonderful place to stay. We would definitely return!

We loved the huge amount of just picked oranges and lemons left for us and the bottle of port. The patio view is gorgeous. The firs restaurant recommended was great. Avoid Sun when groceries closed, Monday but esp Tuesday when restaurants are closed. One open across from RR station that I liked but my husband did not.

We could not have been happier during our time staying at Maria's place. The entire property was gorgeous, with sweeping views of the Douro valley from almost every corner of the property. Although there is little in walking distance (one winery/Port house was walkable) the town is not far away and we really didn't want to leave the property anyway. There was a cozy fireplace at night in the living room, and a patio where we spent the evenings watching sunset and having dinner. The beds and couches were comfy as well. If we could've stayed forever, we would have.
