Taro and Haruka was so kind! From the moment we booked they sent us so many messages letting us know how to check-in, get to the home, places to eat, and things to do. They even left us some small welcoming gifts and wrote a beautiful note on Washi paper! The home itself is also perfect for a small family like us - our son loved the toys and felt safe in the bedrooms with their cute decorations. The wifi is excellent, kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. The location is also great - easy access to all the different artistic communities in the area (pottery village, lacquerware, washi paper, takefu knife village, etc.), so we would absolutely recommend!

What an amazing house! I loved my 2 nights here. Luckily the other guests were quiet people as there can't be much sound proofing, but it is a delightful place to stay. Such a lot of character, full of interesting things, comfortable and peaceful. Great kitchen set up too. Highly recommended!

The interior was beautiful, and it was renovated, including around the water, and it was new.There were also dishes and cooking utensils.It was a heavy snow day, but the heating and bedding were well and comfortable.There were also snow removal tools, and the snow was cleared before we arrived.In addition to the dining room, there are two twin rooms and two tatami mats.The tatami room is partially glass, so a man slept in the tatami room.The road in the village is wide by one car, and it was not snow removal like a main road, so if you are worried about driving on a snowy road, you may want to be careful.

The place is very clean, spacious for 2 person and the kitchen has basic necessities for cooking. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and will need a car to get around. However, this was already mentioned upfront by the host. Susumu is very proactive. He provides updates and follow ups with latest updates around the area. Reconmmeded for those on a road trip.
