Beautiful, relaxing stay in a very comfortable family home. There was everything we needed for an amazing friend’s weekend away. All the beds were sumptuous and extremely comfortable. The beach nearby was idyllic.

Home away from home. Lovely surroundings, set off the road & private. Good sized bedrooms, big bathroom and separate toilet, spacious kitchen & great indoor outdoor flow. Kitchen had everything we needed, large fridge etc. Our kids also enjoyed having the area in front of the garage to bounce the Basketball. The place looks better than the photos.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is great, beautiful views, a five minute walk to coffee and a short drive from lots of wonderful spots. The bach isn’t fussy as other reviews have noted. But honestly that’s kind of refreshing. The beds and linen were comfy, all the bits and pieces you would ever need in the kitchen are at hand, as well as all sorts of other supplies you often find yourself looking for in a rental and all the furnishings feel tasteful and have a lot of personality. Would love to return.

Ernie’s place was a really nice stopover on our trip. Perfect for 2, lovely and quiet and a short drive to the village for dinner. Would happily stay again.

My family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a small dog were so comfortable at Dominic's home. The place was clean and spacious, with great views and a all around comfortable environment. Especially with 6 adults about. There was plenty of places to sneak away and read a book or take a nap from everyone else if required. The downstairs Rumpus room was a great addition with it's Ping-Pong table and dart board. Most afternoons after a day at the beach we found ourselves downstairs enjoying a game of dart and ping-pong. We couldn't of been more comfortable. Thanks Dominic

We're had a fabulous time staying at this beautiful location. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Maxine was an awesome host and kept us well informed about the local water outage on one of the days, to ensure it didn't spoil our holiday. It didn't. It's been fun making memories as a family, at this home away from home.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

A delightful quiet rural property away from the rush of traffic on SH 1, yet only moments to go down the drive and rejoin it. Great location for stopping on a North/South trip. Anthony was the consummate host also, the fresh fruit from your trees was added bonus. Yummy. We all loved the massive grove of trees at the rear of the property so many birds to watch. Thank you Anthony and Dianne for sharing this wonderful spot.

Wonderful spot with a comfortable house and outstanding pool! our family loved the great outdoors entertaining area and enjoyed our Christmas week stay immensely. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Really fantastic place and lovely hosts. Very private and peaceful. Hosts are super quick to assist if any concerns and to maintain the pool at times that suit you. They live a bit up the driveway so can't really see them from the property. Also I have a low car and driveway was absolutely fine, sealed for most of it. Was everything I wanted in a holiday home, highly recommend it. I thought the pool might be cold but it was lovely and warm with inflatables to relax on. Everything was very clean and they supply everything you could need. High end bbq, coffee machine, bedding, scented candles etc. Loved having a dishwasher for a week. The town is about 5 min drive if you want anything, for cafes, restaurants etc. Close to Forestry Beach for a dog friendly beach or plenty of others around, went to a different one each day. Was great to bring my dog along without a long list of rules like some places. Thanks for everything, will be back for sure.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bream Vista Farm stay, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The property is maintained. The hosts, Brooke & Rusell were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring that our stay was seamless. They provided clear communication before and during the stay, making check-in and check-out processes effortless. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxation or work. Whether it was enjoying a peaceful morning, at the pool indoors, it felt like a true home away from home. Thoughtful touches like complimentary breakfast, fruit and basic bathroom essentials were available. Well worth the experience. We recommend Bream Vista Farm stay to anyone looking for a great accommodation experience. Whether traveling for leisure or work, this BnB will be great. We had such an amazing stay the place was even better in person loved the swimming pool and loved it being dog friendly which can be hard to find .

This is very nice place to stay. A quiet area with some good walks. My situation was a little different as I wasn't on holiday and wanted somewhere quiet and reasonably close to the hospital where I was visiting my husband each day. The property is off the road and there are auto gates. As I was on my own this made me feel very safe - on top of which Genevieve was in the main house a lot of the day. It was comfortable and cosy (given my stay was during the winter) and Genevieve and her husband went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend and if I ever need to be in Whangarei for any length of time I hope I can use this accommodation again.

We had a wonderful stay at Brian’s place in Mangawhai! The property is exactly as described - we loved the clean, contemporary aesthetic and the indoor-outdoor living. The location was excellent as well. Just a short walk to the town center in Mangawhai Heads and an easy drive to the beach and all of the other local attractions. Communication with the host was great and we had no issues checking in. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Mangawhai (and we will definitely be back!).

A fantastic private and secluded place. Easy to follow instructions to get to the back of a long driveway as well access instructions. A very clean and tidy place with all the amenities described, at our use. Plenty of parking, comfy beds with a wonderful outdoor area for activities.
