We really enjoyed our stay at Andrea’s house. The location was very quiet but only a short drive to the city for dining and shopping. The kitchen and bathroom were very modern and functional. The entire house was spotless and very welcoming.. We would definitely stay here again!

This is truly a home away from home. Lots of space, all the comforts, close to town, quiet and very restful. Would highly recommend!

5 star accommodation with 5 star harbour views!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful and well appointed home. It is very well designed and has everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kakanui. Kathrin was a wonderful host and gave us great suggestions. She and Walter had us over for coffee the morning we left and it was lovely to visit with them and get even more travel tips. The cottage is small, but they have managed to use the space very cleverly to make it functional, and it felt like it had plenty of room. Everything you need for cooking is there, and it’s quite comfortable for a weekend getaway. The area is lovely, with a very short walk to the beach where you can watch birds and surfers. We also had easy drives to Oamaru and inland to Elephant rocks, which Kathrin had suggested. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area!

Really enjoyed my stay.

We were delighted with this holiday home. The interior was very spacious, comfortable, clean and full of light. It was also very nicely decorated and has everything you need. The location was a nice, short walk from the main attractions of the town. It was a lovely space to come home to and chill out after a busy day out. It had a fantastic shower too. Sam was a very responsive host and provided all the information we needed. Thank you Sam!

Thank you very much for the wine and cheese prepared by the host, it was delicious, and the capsule coffee machine, also not far from the town center, will stay again next time

Lovely cottage with many original features. Views amazing and very comfortable. Well fenced and suitable for dogs.
