Beachfront holiday rental in Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon

We loved our stay here! Everything was as described, the view was incredible, and the location was great—nothing to complain about. We will stay here next time we are around :)

The perfect location is 5 minutes from the beach by foot and about 10 mins from Copacabana fort.. I did a lot of walking there! The street is on a main avenue where buses and cars pass, this makes it very busy and be more peaceful to walk, on the same street there is a police station, we always saw a car making the rounds there, a lot of people on the street walking! Tbm has everything in this street of shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies,everything.. it looks like a city center. About ap : everything impeccable, clean and organized, has basic everyday utensils and everyday cleaning products tbm. Air, TV, microwave and ice water all working. I only recommend you take your own hairdryer because what's in there the jet is soft.. but that's the least! About Mrs. Iacy : very kind and prepared to store our luggage since the flight would leave after the checkout of the ap.. I will certainly refer to friends who wish to go to Rio!

Great accommodation, well located and the location matches the images described. The space also has everyday essentials, which has helped us a lot. In addition, the Allan was extremely flexible with check-in and check-out times!

Very good location, in front of the beach and close to many restaurants and commerce. The apartment had everything you need, the only thing I could improve is that the towels were a little old, but very clean. I recommend it

I stayed with 4 friends to enjoy the carnival and I can say that the host's attention was the big difference. Jorge since the first contact was always helpful and responded very quickly, was flexible with us and was very kind, could not be better. Now about the apartment: Very safe! With two entrances and exits (side entrance with reception and front entrance for better access to the beach). All entries included facial recognition and receptionists. Apart from being very well located, the apartment was very clean and very complete, the only thing I missed was a service area with a sink. No more, comfortable beds, mattresses and sofa bed. More bed linens, well clean and preserved. The leisure area of the building is amazing for having a cafeteria/restaurant, full gym, game room and what we like most, an ice machine available for guest use. Voltaria a thousand times, and once again congratulations to the host Jorge, made the whole difference.

Angela is a super host. From our very first conversation, she provided clear and accurate information about our apartment and the check-in. Whenever we had a question she would respond within minutes and always offer a helpful solution. The apartment itself is spectacular. It offers a full unobstructed view of Ipanema Beach. The apartment is well equipped. It has two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It was also immaculately clean. We could not have found a better place to stay and we hope to come back many times in the future.

It's 5 years in a row I'm staying with Ms. Wanda. I tracked all the changes it carefully provides for guests. It's always a pleasure! I feel extremely safe and comfortable here. As always, I'll be back.🩵

Everything is perfect...... in particular the large balcony in front of the sea to which you can also access the rooms that you can also see the sea , make you want to have lunch and dinner every night on that balcony. Everything was spotless as described. Very close / 3 blocks /Supermercado ZonaSul where they have rotiseria, fishmongers , bakery etc etc everything you need they have and at a great level. The only negative point is that the mattress in the master bedroom is not comfortable for me, but since it no longer obscures the great stay we had 8 nights, we would definitely come back... As described. Peaceful and relaxed neighbourhood in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was clean and we felt at home. Ninha was a great host, always responsive and kind. We would not hesitate to come back when we need somewhere to stay in Niterói. The nearby Cheiro de Mar is a great, relaxed place to grab a burger or a sandwich and watch the sun set over Rio de Janeiro.

The ape is perfect, all the rooms have a sea view, including in the bathrooms, the kitchen has all the utensils necessary for a complete stay, the beds are comfortable, everything is very clean and the differential of having the daily cleaning included is a sensational benefit, I loved the stay.

The impeccable depto, air conditioning in both environments, coffee maker, sandwich maker and blender, utensils, pans and pots in very good condition, filtered water, comfortable shower. Everything works perfect!. Good wifi signal, the apartment is spacious, we love the carpet of the living room to walk barefoot. Morro view from the balcony. By far one of the best experience I have had with Airbnb. John and charlotte are incredible. Easy to talk and super responsive. They went above and beyond to provide a good stay for me and my family. Their recommendations of activities around the city were amazing - some of them not displayed in most touristic hand books so thumbs up. The apartment has a clear view of the ocean which makes the experience inside sublime. The size of John’s unit is super generous and the 4 of us - for two days we were five - stayed very comfortably. I’m already planning on staying at John’s again - I go to Rio at least once a year. You can’t get better combination of host, location, and unit in the town. We were delighted with the accommodation! The apartment is super well equipped, distributed on four floors, with large and comfortable rooms. The view is simply impeccable!!!! The location is a real privilege, with an exit to a beautiful and quiet beach – undoubtedly one of the most cozy ones in Rio de Janeiro. Our tip for those staying here: pass the market before you arrive and take everything you need after that, just relax and enjoy every moment. We can't wait to go back!

What an amazing place to stay in such a great location that was close to everything. The view from all windows was spectacular especially letting that ocean breeze. This place felt like home. Location was spot on with nearby restaurants, bars, shops and anything else you could think of. Beach is right across the street. Our host was so amazing to communicate with and she was so sweet, patient, understanding and flexible with all my request and needs. Best part of this booking was our communication. We will definitely be back and hope to stay here again!

What a wonderful experience we had at Teresa and Henrique's apartment! Extremely gentle and welcomed us! The accommodation is exactly like in the photos, with 2 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony and a spacious room that has kitchenware (there was no stove, but we did not feel the need). The building is super safe, and the region is excellent, with shopping around and the region of Baixo Gávea, which has excellent restaurants such as Brewtecco, Braseiro and Guimas. I loved the stay and highly recommend it!

let me tell you, if you don't want to stay in the tourist traps of Copacabana and Ipanema and prefer to stay in a pretty safe area of Rio while also being a stones throw from Copa and Ipanema this is the place! The Urca Neighborhood is a great place if you want to dip your toes into the real local culture while being in an area that is pretty safe yet vibrant. THE VIEW IS ABSOLUTE TOPS IN THE CITY for the price. we are directly in front of the harbor in Urca with the Sugarloaf mountain cable car only a 10 minute walk away and the mountain is seen just blocks away while Christo Redentor looks down on your balcony! Amazing!!!! Adrianan is first class and is filled with tons of useful info. I recommend doing the Sant Marta Favela tour with Pedro through trip advisor. you will be blown away and as long as you follow the directs of the guide you will be absolutely safe. Just be respectful it's not a zoo it's filled with a vibrant culture you won't see from the tourist Traps.
