Luxury yurt in woodland campsite fox

AmandaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We didn’t see Hugo but was greeted by one of his colleagues. He was super friendly, informative about the local amenities, and walks, etc. It was peaceful, private and I’d definitely go again. The only thing that let us down a bit was the British weather!

Traditional Mongolian Yurt at Haddon Acre

EmmaRating, 5 stars42 months ago
I loved staying at Haddon Acre - the yurt is set in beautiful surroundings with Wittenham Clumps a short walk away - really lovely to walk there for sunrise and sunset! Remote enough to have a break from the outside world, but close enough to all amenities and travel links to drive to Cotswold's & the Chilterns. Sue was kind enough to bake a cake & provide other breakfast items upon arrival, which I thought was a really nice touch! Haddon Acre will remain as one of my special stays - lovely relaxing energy around the landscape.

'Willow' Yurt in West Sussex Countryside

ReubenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We visited during the weekend to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed. Really enjoyed just relaxing after the mayhem of the festival. The yurt itself is lovely, quaint and liveable for a weekend or longer should one choose. We were provided with logs for a fire in the stove and to light them outside. There's an on site facility to purchase bare essentials but there's also a shop nearby to purchase anything else. Would love to visit and stay again. Thanks

Oak - Large Woodland Yurt on Organic Dairy Farm

AmandaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We spent 2 nights staying at Chris's beautiful Yurt. Chris welcomed us and made us feel right at home. It's such a beautiful, idyllic location and Chris supplied everything necessary (including marshmallows) to have an enjoyable, stress-free stay. Would highly recommended and will visit again.

Very beautiful yurt, we were able to keep warm and cozy despite the cold weather thanks to the wood stove and heater. Nice location for walks and a trip to Hastings.

Woodland Yurt

IanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent 2 lovely nights in the yurt, which could have been a challenge since it is January! But everything was super, despite snow and rain and minus temperatures! It is very peaceful, pretty isolated with amazing views and sunsets. It is 'back to basics' - but as described. The outdoor kitchen was fun, and had most things we needed. The fire 'pit' has a grill and there was plenty of wood and kindling. We did bring our own chairs (lots of log seating, but all a bit damp in winter). The water had frozen when we arrived but Rosie left us 2 large cartons of water, so all good. And the yurt was toasty once we lit the indoor burner. Woods are full of wildlife, spotted 2 deer and an owl... and heard much more. Will be back in the warmer months for sure!

Yurt Stay in nature. South Downs National Park.

PaulRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My son and I booked the yurt for the end of our day after our walk. It was just what we were after, quiet location, beautiful countryside and my favourite thing, not one but two fires, the indoor one made the yurt really cosy and I could have been o”in Mongolia. Loved it. Will be back with my wife. We also had a dog and this place is as dog friendly as you can get. Thank you, great place.

The Yurt at Waterperry (Oxford)

SueRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I can't emphasise how lovely this stay was, from Carl meeting us to show us around to nicola inviting us to feed the animals with her. Then onto the yurt...wow..the care and attention they have put into this is evident...prosecco on arrival, face masks, marshmallows for toasting, all ingredients for hot chocolate, not to mention fresh eggs from their hens and milk in the fridge. they really have thought of everything and it felt so incredibly luxurious. It was so comfortable, warm and cosy. We have booked again for next summer but will also visit beforehand if we get a chance. cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks so much Carl and Nicola...you have created a really special place.

Glamping in 14 Pods and Yurts in pretty Sussex

SheenaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Very welcoming host. Louisa communicated challenges with the original site early on and enabled a pre visit to the new location which was very welcome. We had the whole site for the weekend and Louisa and Bev looked after us really well. Especially as one of our vehicles got stuck in the access lane and needed assistance - thank you for your kindness. The site was well laid out with good spacing between the pods and the showers, toilets and washing up area were discreetly placed - and with lovely hot water. I would thoroughly recommend.

Chiltern Yurts: Red Kite

janeRating, 5 stars16 months ago
I had a gorgeous restful two night stay at Emma and Jim's yurt. Emma met me as I arrived and was very friendly and took time to show me how everything worked so I could then just settle in. The yurt was sumptuously and beautifully furnished and decorated and perfectly thought through with practical yet elegant details. Loved the nifty washing up area attached to the little bathroom, the little fridge and two ring hob were perfect, the bed and sofa bed super comfortable and there were torches, hot water bottles and beautiful wood for the cosy woodburner. Travelling on my own I appreciated being able to lock the beautiful wooden door so felt quite safe. I loved sitting outside the yurt watching a red kite soar over or the stars come out across the wide open sky and there were lovely walks along the canal and to the reservoirs nearby with even more birdlife. I would have happily stayed longer. Thank you Emma and Jim

Stunning and secluded yurt stay

HollyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I booked the yurt for my husband and 4 year old to stay in. They had the most fantastic time! They were met by the hosts and told my very excited son about the wildlife and woods they could go in. My son loved running around the field finding sticks and he saw a frog which made him not want to come home! Both Emma and Vidar very friendly and responsive over messages giving directions and coordinates and answering any questions we had. The yurt was beautiful very cozy with an outdoor fire for them to toast marshmallows before bed. The kitchen had everything they needed to make drinks and dinner. We are looking to book again next year for us all. Thanks so much again for making their trip fantastic.

4 Unique Gorgeous Pods for group booking in Sussex

JosephRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We had a fantastic three night stay over the bank holiday weekend. We had three yurts and a big main one, which was great as we could store things and it came with a really big cool box. We had fires every night and a bbq provided, along with camp chairs, tables and benches. You can purchase kindling, charcoal and wood from the hosts. The campsite has hot showers, compost toilets and a washing up area. Just a heads up that there is no phone signal and no electricity but to be honest that was great for us as we just wanted to unwind. Definitely looking to come back again, made it so easy to camp as there wasn’t much we needed to actually bring! Beverley and Louisa were very approachable and helpful, can’t recommend this enough for large groups wanting to camp with minimal leg work needed!

Farmyard Yurt

LizRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful location and accommodation, had all the features we were looking for and we loved having our log burner to keep us warm and hearing the horses in the morning. A bird of prey flew over our heads as we were eating our breakfast! Really eco-focused facilities, and very comfortable yurt and Shepherd’s hut. Owners resolved anything that came up during our stay.

Amazing summer glamping, total luxury!

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An amazing place! If you’re looking for something exotic or a historical experience, you absolutely must visit. It’s February, and it’s +5°C outside. We heated the stove and imagined how people lived in such an interesting type of home for thousands of years or even lives now. We didn’t cook anything ourselves but had dinner at a restaurant because it’s only a 10-12 minute drive to the city center. Parking in Salisbury is free after 6 PM. If you’re used to luxury and need a warm shower and a comfortable toilet, this might not be the right place for you. But our experiment was a success! And by the way, it’s a great experience for kids. I think in the summer time it would be fantastic!
