Holiday Homes in River Thames

The cottage was beautiful, exactly like the photos. Mark had left us some bread, milk and brownies which was really lovely when we arrived! It had everything we needed, and some! It was really quite cold during our visit to the Cotswolds so the extra heaters provided were a blessing. We would definately stay again 😊

Pam was an exceptional host. Quick , responsive communication. The accommodation was perfect. Beautifully presented and decorated for Christmas. Comfortable sofas and beds. Well equipped with all the cooking utensils you will need. Towels, extra bedding, hand wash, hand cream and shower gel were all provided. There is ample parking for 2 cars directly outside the lodge. Pam left us a beautiful Christmas welcome package that we all appreciated, a lovely thoughtful touch. The location of the lodge is perfect, fabulous views out onto the river. We took a walk into Stratford, it was an easy pavement walk and took us about 35mins. We had 3 dogs with us and Pam had left a box with dog towels, water bowl and feeding mat. There is a large grass area outside the lodge, perfect for the dogs to do their business and there are even poo bins with poo bags dotted around the park. We had such a lovely stay and would highly recommend to all.

A wonderful and comfortable place to stay, with a separate entrance. Suitable for long-term stays. The area is lovely. Bexley Woods are located across the road, which is a great place for a walk. You can get to the center of London by train or by bus. Wi-Fi worked well. As mentioned in another review, Pam, who lives next door, is a very friendly and nice person.

The bothy is a lovely, clean place to stay with walks (be prepared for mud!) right outside the door. Juliet was a very friendly and accommodating host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

From the start and even before booking Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive. This then led to a successful booking, the host always makes a difference. The house was exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked for the number of people, and there was a washer and dryer which is always helpful with a family. Kate had explained everything in the weeks running up to the holiday and then sent a very helpful text on the day with all the information you needed to get there in a concise format. Kate was contactable throughout our stay if we needed anything, and this is priceless. The amenities on site are brilliant and well suited to a family. We didn't need to leave Mill Estate for the duration of our stay. Thank you Kate , we would love to come back !

Lovely stay at this beautiful home. This particular house is on a very peaceful part of the site. The house is a short walk to the spa (pool) and recreation space. We used the pools which was nice but didn’t really know how to book the tennis and football areas. Pizza from the site is excellent. Made use of Cotswold Beach & Water park which is close by. Nice day out - would recommend pre-booking the parking!

A really lovely Airbnb in a picturesque and peaceful location. Very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Karin was a very communicative and accommodating host. Would recommend to others.

We had a wonderful weekend at Janice's accommodation. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. It was in a really peaceful area which was lovely to return to after a busy day exploring Oxford. The accommodation was ideal for 2 people, relaxing and very homely, spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed for our stay . There were plenty of refreshments and snacks which was a lovely touch. Janice was so flexible with our check in and we were able to leave our car and bags then catch the bus into Oxford. The bus stop was only a couple of minutes walk down the road. We only used our car once during the weekend which was to get delicious and chips from The Ocean Blue Fish Bar. We got the opportunity to meet and chat with Janice. She was so friendly and accommodating. We would have no hesitation to book again and recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay Janice!!

Such a find at a difficult time when issues came up over accomodation while attending MIL's funeral locally. Coral was lovely+went above+beyond to make sure the apartment was suitable for Mum (# pelvis 4 weeks earlier and on a walking frame). As it was, couldn't have been more perfect. x1 step into the kitchen - easily managed - and rest all on one level with spacious rooms. Big bathroom had ample space around toilet for the support surround I brought with me; and walk-in shower was fab. Gave Mum her 1st sense of independence in a month. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen - tea, coffee, milk much appreciated! Garden looked very attractive but didn't have time to investigate. Able to pull up outside door to accomodation to unload, then easy parking on residential road, 30 yards away.

We had a lovely Christmas break seeing family in Horsham and Thanks to Gail and Arthur for having us at the annexe over Christmas. We have always enjoyed our visits to Round The Corner and look forward to the next one.

We had a great stay in Suzie’s lodge, we felt right at home immediately. The lodge was absolutely spotless and well presented. It is situated in a lovely area of the park too. Suzie gave very detailed instructions with everything we needed to know prior and during our stay and was on hand if we needed assistance. We would definitely rebook this lodge! Thanks for everything Suzie!

Fabulous stay at the Court House for a special birthday. Great location in the beautiful Blockley village and close to nearby towns including Chipping Campden and Broadway. We had a very nice lunch at the Bakers Arms which was less than a 10 minute drive. Beds were very comfy and kitchen was beautiful. 100% recommend!

Fabulous decor, extremely comfortable, perfect location for our short stay. Loved looking out in the morning to see the heron. When we see the heron at home it's because he's taking the fish from our pond !!!!! We hope to be back in the Spring, when the the weather (fingers crossed) will be conducive to taking advantage of the outside space.

Beautiful stay at Danielle’s .It was exactly as described.Very clean, warm, comfortable and a gorgeous location.Also very handy to be able to charge my car.I would definitely recommend.

The place was so homely - I instantly felt relaxed there and the garden area was lovely. It was the perfect location as a temporary home, very close to both the underground and overground stations. Ghanim was also very responsive when I thought I had an issue with the lock and came right over to fix it. I would recommend to anyone.

we loved our stay at The Long Barn, the peace and quiet was just what the two of us (and dog!) needed. It’s a lovely spot, easy to find but private despite being on a farm. Spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped: I would recommend it to anyone and the entries in the visitor’s book agree! Lovely friendly hosts too.

Lovely part of the world and we love The Lakes. This house had a peaceful vibe.

We loved our stay at Jennifer's beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect when we arrived and the apartment is well stocked with everything you need, which was very much appreciated after a long journey. We found a long-stay pay and display car park just around the corner which was very useful. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We had the best weekend in Chipping Campden and Andrew and Skipper’s air bnb was the perfect place to stay. We visited with friends and were able to check in early, the property was easy to find and access. We were left a lovely welcome card and gift which was a thoughtful and personal touch! The property was spotless throughout and the decor was perfect and in keeping with the character of its surroundings! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the property had the cosy, at home feel we all wanted. We loved it so much that we’re already planning our next visit!! If you’re looking for a small market town with beautiful walks, friendly locals, fantastic food and numerous pubs then Chipping Campden is the place and we would 100% recommend this air bnb!
