We had a lovely stay in rural and quiet Tavera. Rose Marie is very warm and welcomed us with Corsican specialties. A car is recommended for shopping and eating. Overall, it was a very relaxing vacation with lots of great hiking opportunities.

Dume was an extremely friendly host who provided us with many tips for possible activities. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you might need. Dume even provided fruits and Corsican specialties for us, we felt very welcome!! We had some bad luck with the weather during our short stay and had to spend more time in the house because of thunderstorms, as it was almost a bit dark for us, but in nice summer weather the area offers an abundance of possible hikes and other interesting excursions.
