Perched on top of the hill at Redesdale, the cottage features stunning unobstructed views from the back deck. With bird life, rabbits, kangaroos, sheep and huge skies to observe while relaxing in the first class amenities of this renovated country cottage. Comfy with a lovely kitchen, there’s nothing to do except relax. It is handily located across the road from the Redesdale pub and cafe. A thoughtful and generous host, Hashani provided breakfast items including eggs, bacon, muffins and 3 types of milk (soy, lactose free and normal). Vases of scented roses, a coffee machine and exceptional communication all added to what was a lovely New Year’s Eve stay. The aircon was well-used! Bring everything with you as you won’t want to leave after you arrive. There are no major shops, just the pub and cafe, so do your grocery shopping before you arrive.

This stay is the perfect peaceful getaway, the garden feels like something straight out of a Ghibli film. If you're in the area for the orchards or the national parks, stay here.

We had a fantastic stay, and Neil and Diahnn were amazing hosts. They checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel cared for throughout our visit. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the heart of Heathcote, with the famous Gaffney’s Bakery only two minutes away. It was convenient to explore the town while still enjoying the peace of the cabin. We also enjoyed the view from the private deck every evening, watching beautiful sunsets. We were excited to see plenty of kangaroos and loved listening to various birds; it felt like a retreat into nature. The cabin was compact yet comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a short stay, including cozy beds and a TV with Netflix and YouTube. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials for quick meal preparations. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway.
