Holiday rentals with a patio in Ragama

We stayed at Silunas AirBnb for one month and loved every day of it. It’s located in a beautiful, fairly quiet area yet everything you need is close by – many restaurants and a supermarket are in walking distance and getting to Colombo city center by car or trisho takes less than half an hour. We really loved the big terrace surrounded by palm trees, banana plants, cute chipmunks and fireflies at night. Towards the end of our stay we did however have a problem with a lot of ants inside of the apartment that seemed to be emerging out of nowhere despite not leaving any food out in the open. Overall though we really enjoyed our time in Silunas place and felt very much at home :)

We chose Sanira's apartment as our place to stay while we worked on our wedding arrangements since it was at the center of Colombo and made it easy to travel to our vendor appointments. The place was impeccably clean, tidy and modern, which are all extremely important to my wife and I. The only problem we encountered frequently (which isn't a reflection on the host) had to do with the building's security. They've made it unnecessarily strict and complex to the point where it almost felt like they were constantly interrogating us and our guests, despite having stayed at this place for almost a month. Besides the few altercations that we had with security during our stay, this was an excellent pick and we were extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

Great stay. Everything as listed. We especially enjoyed the endless supply of hot water and the amazing pool. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Colombo.

We had a wonderful stay at Nihal's place in Maharagama! Nihal and his wife are incredibly kind-hearted and helpful hosts, always ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their hospitality truly made our experience special. The house is situated in a very convenient location, making it easy to explore the area and access nearby amenities. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, perfect for both short and long vacations. We wholeheartedly recommend Nihal's place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Maharagama. Thank you, Nihal and family, for making our trip so enjoyable!

Our stay at Chandana’s Airbnb was truly wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Chandana and his wife were incredibly warm, welcoming, and responsive to our needs. The Airbnb itself is stunning, with beautiful interior decor and a charming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Their kindness and attentiveness throughout our stay made the experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

One of the best hosts of an Airbnb I have seen. Despite being miles away, Sepalika’s proactiveness in helping us out was something I will always remember. The property was outstanding with top class maintenance by Sepalika’s staffs Pushpakumara and Bandula. Thanks a ton Sepalika for making our stay in Colombo a one to remember :)

The hosts are lovely people, we stayed an extra day, that's why I have a previous review. They did everything to make us comfortableand happy. Karu was also helpful and a great cook. We would highly recomend this place to everyone.

VILLA 49 is a beautifully designed, spotless, and well-maintained property. I worked there remotely for a week, and the internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The hosts, who live next door, were incredibly responsive and helpful. They welcomed us with refreshing homemade lemonade and even made a brunch reservation for us and drove us to Colombo with our luggage on our last day—above and beyond hospitality! The property offers parking, and while the nearby traffic makes the town less walking-friendly, there are a few local gems worth exploring. It’s easy to call a cab and travel to nearby areas in 15–20 minutes. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

We stayed at this place for 4 nights, and the experience was great. There is plenty of space in the house with a rooftop perfect for a gathering with your family and friends. Clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. Smart tvs and high speed internet. Overall great place to spend your vacation. I don’t have any bad things to mention. Ajith is very helpful and taken care of every thing. Hoping to stay at this place next time too.. Thanks Don!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. We had no issues during our visit . Added extras like tea/coffee, crackers , chocolate biscuits, soft drinks & bananas were a sweet touch . Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay at Sonali’s. The apartment is modern and practically the entire place has air conditioning. Very central location in Colombo. Jogging trails are nearby as is a Spa Ceylon. The caretaker was very helpful. We would highly recommend Sonali’s for a family stay.

Ramesha was very responsive and the apartment was exactly as described. Will definitely book the apartment again when visiting Colombo.

Shiffan has been incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His house was beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and private retreat. I highly recommend his place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for a truly memorable experience.

What can I say other than don’t miss the opportunity to stay in this exceptional home. I was doing some work in Colombo for two months and was fortunate enough to come across Chandi’s & Lucy’s place online. Photos can’t do justice to the true sense of calm which you experience as soon as you walk through the entrance door to the property which separates the garden of Colombo Retreat from the street (a quiet private road which runs off a busier street with a few shops/restaurants within easy walking distance). The property is all on the ground floor with a private garden for your own use which wraps itself around the space. Completely private. Inside the space is beautifully furnished with an easy blend of antiques and more contemporary Sri Lankan furniture. You know that this is someone’s home but you never feel like you are intruding. I could not recommend this beautiful home more. Finally, a shout-out to Asta (co-host) and Asuntha (housekeeper), both of whom were so attentive.
