Miles Glen | Old world luxury

Thank you Matthew, we enjoyed our overnight stay. The provided electric heater and a heating blanket in each room was great, the fire place was nice and already prepared when we arrived. Nice place for a stay!

Conglomerate House 1

TheresaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
As we arrived Doc was there to welcome us and did just make a fire for us. He showd us his beautiful house and suggested a few things we could do in the area. We felt right at home. The house was very clean and tidy and the kitchen was fully stocked and you habe everything you need. The kitchen is really beautiful and I had a lot of fun cooking in it. We were fortunate and had the house all to ourselves. We slept really well and it was the perfect place to spent the last days of our travels. Doc has a shop under the Empire Hotel which is defiantly worth a visit, because you can find local arts, jewelry, knives, souvenirs and Docs Photos. If you‘re in Queenstown, choose this accomidation.

Zeehan House of Leisure

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a lovely older place with new bathrooms and lots of historical touches. There was only two of us but the place has four big bedrooms and would be great for larger gatherings. Zeehan town centre is nearby and easily walkable. IGA Supermarket is a bit further and well stocked. Don't miss going to the museum at the Heritage Centre Zeehan - a ticket is valid for seven days and well worth it.

Crotty Cottage - Queenstown

AdrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Queenstown has a great history and Crotty cottage is a great place to stay to experience the history. As the description says it is an old cottage with real charm - but all the things we like now - great shower, comfy bed, cooking facilities and coffee maker! This feels like a Tasmanian house I stayed in 30 years ago - with great memories. It’s not far from the middle of the town in a residential area - you are with the locals.

West Coast Holiday Home

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We only spent one night at Ken and Jos house and that was the real bummer. We would have loved to spend more nights! A sweet and clean house side by side to rocks, a stream on the other side and located in a dead end street. It was so quiet. The kitchen is more than fully equipped, spacious bathrooms and the big comfy couch. The Lookout "Spion Kop" us around the corner and the view from up there are breathtaking. Also, the Horsetail Falls track blew our eyes out. The area with its mining history formed the landscape, which was super interesting. We had dinner at the Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe, which was really good, foodwise, beerwise and restaurantwise ☺️ Ken and Jo were there to help, the second we asked. Thank you guys!!!

Sunset Sky

This is a superb place. Quiet part of Strahan, but a short walk to amenities. The house is immaculate and quite large. We really felt at home and should have stayed longer.
