Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Queenstown

We have been hoping to be able to stay at Seaforth for some time - and we lucked out with a glorious warm long weekend to finally get our chance. This shack is perfect in every way. A proper relaxing time out from everything. The kids had a wonderful adventure too, and no one asked about a TV. Soaking in the spectacular views across the bush to the harbour and the mountains with a cup of tea, Nick Cave on the stereo and accompanied by the local birdsong - heaven! Loved the outdoor shower, comfy bed, watching the mountains change colour at dusk and dawn and the (bushfire enhanced) sunsets. Would have loved to stay longer and get stuck into the books. Thanks for having us!

Loved the veranda, getting that wonderful morning sun whilst relaxing with a coffee, book. So peaceful. Nice walk into town and shops and old style house with lots of charm. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely few days staying in Lettes Bay in this beautiful little cabin. The space itself was so tastefully decorated, free of clutter and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the friendly neighbourhood ducks. Strahan has a number of local attractions and Claire was extremely responsive with recommendations for our stay. A really lovely little AirBnB to explore the west cost of Tasmania! Would 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at 'The Shack'. Photos are true to reality. Kitchen is very well stocked which was great! Beds super comfortable and the whole quirky vibe was alive and well. 45 minutes to Strahan 10 minute relaxed walk to town two IGA's with friendly staff. Would we stay again? absolutely! Words can’t describe how much my wife and I loved this place. The hosts are informative and very friendly and helpful. This is everything an AirBNB should be. We were fascinated by the home so much we spent most of our time admiring the details and unique designs and reading books and Sarah’s story about the Captains Rest. This place is great value and more. We do hope we can come back one day and experience it again!

Pete provided great instructions and information about where to eat and local shop trading hours which was very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great location, quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and inviting. Every thing you needed was provided. Also great undercover parking.

We loved our 2 night stay at Leeanne’s house. It was warm and cozy, very clean, beds were comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could possibly need. Thanks for the chocs Leeanne 😊

A wonderful cottage, in character with its name and tranquil location. A slight mishap with the cleaning on arrival but the hosts got onto it straight away and were very professional about it. The ducks were a highlight. We would definitely come back to the Artist’s Cottage.

There was only the two of us. Felt decadent to have all that room to ourselves. The artworks, books and records were plentiful. Very quirky. One was continually finding a piece of artwork that had previously gone unnoticed. We were surprised by the large amount of pantry items available to us as well. The Q Bank was our base for 6 nights. Had some lovely experiences from there - the Heritage Train, the Gordon River Cruise and various walks, lookouts and waterfalls. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
