This little cottage is brimming with colour and quirkiness in a great location, very close to the Nugget Point Lighthouse which was a highlight for our trip. Everything in the cottage was well presented, tidy and clean which made for an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed watching the ocean from our terrace every morning and evening ❤️. The apartment is clean, equipped with a Nespresso machine, milk, and chocolate, which we really appreciated. The accommodation is absolutely recommended if you want to explore the Catlins region in more depth.

What a lovely village, Papatowai and what a wonderful cabin at Carol's to explore the Catlins. From Papatowai, all sights are easily accessible. The cabin has all the comforts, very nice. Carol has a coffee shop a little further from the cabin with delicious coffee and pastries. Highly recommended to stop by when you stay with Carol.
