Holiday houses in Puncheon Island

Greg was so thoughtful and generous in supplying us with food staples (and treats!) as well as beach equipment for the kids. Great place with plenty of space and perfect location for the entire family. We will absolutely want to stay there again.

10 minute stroll to the beach + great swim spot, fishing off the rocks. Easy 1km walk to a 2nd beach from the house. Large living spaces - kitchen, dining and lounge. Lots of wallabies, wombats and butterflies.

Well maintained, spotlessly clean, feels set up for permanency not just an AirBnB. Spacious open plan living and dining with nicely spaced bedrooms. Comfy beds, nice linen, plenty of blankets and pillows. Well stocked pantry, fridge and cupboards Good quality pans for cooking - it’s rare to get such good non stick frypans! Special touches including fresh bread in the bread maker on arrival and fresh flower arrangements in every room. Not cheap but I doubt you’d find better on Flinders Island. Nothing is cheap to import/buy on island. No Wifi but Telstra works well and TV has ALL the channels. Centrally located with beautiful views but still so private you could sunbake on your front deck. Extremely relaxing stay for our whole family.

The Cottage at Lady Barron was a cosy stay that felt very much like your very own holiday place on the coast. Just across the road is a beautiful coastal walk with stunning views of the harbour, numerous islands and Great Barron Island mountains in the distance. A very beautiful and special place. The general store and local tavern were a few short minutes walk away. Barbara was a very responsive host who very promptly helped us with a minor issue we had on arrival. Thanks Barbara for a great stay.

Great place to base yourself for island adventures 👌🏽

We loved our stay, we loved the seclusion of the location, strolling down to the beach to swim and snorkel for abalone. So well equipped and lots of lovely extras including local honey. We loved hand feeding the local wallabies off the deck of the Airbnb every night. A great place to base yourself to explore the paradise that is Flinders Island.

Ricki’s place was just what we needed. Hard to remove ourselves from the loungeroom or back deck with the spectacular view. Great hot tub area. The beds are super comfy and the shower works well. Walk to the tavern for a drink or meal and the store for a coffee. Couldn’t get better. Ricki is an attentive host and answered our questions as they arose. We hope to be back one day soon!

Was relaxed and felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. on opening the blinds as we entered we were blown away by the location, outlook and how snug it was. It exceeded our expectations and was a beautiful base to check out the fab island. We'll be back. Thanks Sabine.

A peaceful well appointed cottage on a working farm. Complete with cows out the door! It’s a fairly secluded and remote location so take what you need. I wasn’t aware shops closed on a Sunday so was grateful breakfast supplies were in the cottage. If you’re after a complete break from a busy life, this is perfect. Just be aware that a farm gate needs to be opened and closed, the cows moo and tractors start up very early. The space itself is beautifully appointed. The bed is so comfortable. Jo was very responsive and friendly.

Peaceful and secluded with lovely view of the ocean. Clean and tidy shack with spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen plus laundry. Loved the wallabies visiting at the door each morning!

Lorraine and Rob turned their land into a dream farm stay experience. Stunning water and beach views from the spacious top house which is surrounded by majestic eucalyptus, fruit and flowering native trees. We could feed the pig or the chooks. The curious and colorful partridges came visit us on the deck. But the best was to connect with Lorraine and Rob who made us feel so welcome and shared a bit of their life’s with us. The welcome bread was delicious. We stayed a week with our 2 kids and only wish we have stayed longer. Highly recommend if you want a special experience on Flinders Island.
