House is beautiful and clean and the host was very responsive!

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

Aimee and Steve are great hosts. They are very responsive to every question. Easy check in and checkout process. The house is clean had everything we needed. We stayed here for snowmobiling. This house is a great location for that. It is just off a main trail. You can ride right from the yard to the trail. We had our dogs with us. There was 2 ft. of snow on the ground and the owners shoveled a path to the fenced portion of the yard and also shoveled an area for the dogs inside the fence. Plenty of space for relaxing after a long day of riding. We will be back again!

My third stay at the Chautauqua Creek Retreat, and each time has been unique. My first stay during winter months, and the view of the gorge is absolutely remarkable, cut right out of a fairytale. House was nice and cozy, and a beautiful view of the light snow falling from every window. Driveway stayed cleared, and easy to access even in winter conditions. A unique experience that can be enjoyed by all ages, and any given time of the year!

This is our second Christmas at this place. It was again a lovely stay with great responsiveness from the host as well as the perfect amenities for our needs.

We had the best vacation with wonderful memories. The most important part of our vacation was having a place to enjoy with our older dog who loves to swim. This may be our last summer with him and coming to Higbys was the best decision. They directed us immediately to the swimming area for him and it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way. Thank you for one of the best vacations. The memories will last a lifetime!

Patti as a host was amazing. Was very responsive and allowed my group an early check in since we made a better time for our arrival. The house was everything as described. Linens were all spotless and the beds were really comfortable. The house was super clean and had anything you would need during your stay. The location is perfect. Tucked just far enough back that you can enjoy privacy.

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

We planed a LAST moment trip with our family. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids of multiple ages and we ALL had an amazing time and comfortable stay. We love Bemus point as a location and went and enjoyed walks around town and the sunset. Debbie was an absolute pleasure and a very gracious host. We loved her dog as well and will definitely book here again.

We spent 4 nights while skiing at Peek n Peak, plenty of space for 5 kids and 4 adults! Kids loved the old-school pong table, popcorn machine and fire pit. House was cozy with plenty of sleeping options having the detached barn house.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

Our long awaited family reunion of 8 adults and 1 dog LOVED staying in the Plum Bush house. The house is BEAUTIFUL and spacious, the beds comfy, the water hot and the sunporch was the coziest place to gather for conversation and enjoy the welcome snacks and beverages. The pool water was a balmy 88 degrees and the grounds were a great place to hike, have a camp fire or play a game of corn hole. Mary and Bert were nearby to answer any questions and made us feel at home. We would love to stay there again!

Michelle was very kind! Her empathy came to the forefront when she allowed us to keep one of our cars parked in the driveway for a few days after check out due to an emergency. If you'd like a quiet getaway with family, this is perfect! We also took a 45-minute car ride to Allegheny National Forest and spent several hours hiking. You can walk to the lake, and the public beach access is only a 15-minute drive (it has a very scenic view). Highly recommend!

This beautiful and peaceful home was the perfect location and space for our family Christmas. The interior was country themed and we felt right at home. Doris was attentive and communicative. Will be back again in the summer! Loved it!

This is a lovely cottage along Lake Erie and very close to SUNY Fredonia. Comfortable furniture and a great TV. My dog and I felt right at home.

I would highly recommend Peach Zen to anyone traveling to Erie! Francessca was a GREAT hostess. The accomodations were pristine and she thought of everything in the set-up of the space. My friend and I go on an annual Girls Weekend to meet and catch up in Erie and we will definetly rebook!

Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

We enjoyed our stay it was definitely home away from home. Rachel went above and beyond to provide extra touches. The perfect sized place for two people and our small dog, there were dog treats also provided! We appreciated Jason who provided snow removal the night we arrived. Thank You for providing us a wonderful experience away from home!

The cottage is in a perfect location for family to enjoy all the activities at Edinboro lake over the 4th July. Loved the smokeless fire pit. Great front porch to gather on. Would recommend this as a great family vacation destination.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bed and Breakfast at 416 w 10 St. Erie Pa. We found it to be very spacious and comfortable. We were pleased that it was in a very quite and peaceful neighborhood. Should we find ourselves needing accommodations in the Erie area again we would not hesitate to use this bed and breakfast. Anthony Militello

My friends and I used to own a camp in Conneaut but we decided to sell it since we didn't use it often. We found Kimberly's place and it was much nicer than ours and bigger too. This place is ideal for anyone visiting the Conneaut area. Close to the lake and the restaurants but sits peacefully in the woods if that's what you're looking for. We did have a short glitch with the heat but Kimberly responded immediately and had solutions before we even got cold. Then she followed up to make sure everything was still in order. We'll most likely be staying here each year moving forward.
