If you want to live the real carioca life, this is your place! Stayed here for 1 month, and didn't want to leave. The beach is basically across the street, so many restaurants and kiosks! Make sure you try the smash burger at stadium, go to the viking kiosk and say hi to Enzo, the gurjao is amazing. Went to Maracana stadium twice, was only about an hour away. Adrianna was responsive, gave us so many suggestions for shopping. loved everything and everyone in Recreio!
